Astrid's strongest personality traits have to be her competitive nature to be the best at everything , and should she somehow lose a contest that she could be proud of the fact she had given it her all.

Past/History:
Astrid grew up being taught that no matter you did life. You always much be able look back at it while knowing you did the right thing.
Which was the mantra she lived her life by. As the blond would not accept no for an answer unless she gave it her all. As during high school for example Astrid was the best female boxer on the team, and the other girls could no longer give her an challenge. So she went to the coach of the boys team, and asked if she could spar against them.
The coach at first told her no, but after weeks of trying to convince him, and succeeding at the challenges he gave her to overcome he caved in to her request.
However this was only step one as now she had to convince the members of the team. It was tough, but after enduring their challenges and jokes for an month she was given one final task. She had to face one of them, and either knock him out or still be standing after 12 rounds.
With an bit of luck, and the fact her opponent thought less of her she manage to knock him flat on his back after he failed to hit her with an hook, and she countered with an uppercut. This was enough to convince the boys to let her spar with them as it taught her that with determination and guts you could overcome everything.
After being taken to an local wrestling show at 18, Astrid fell in love with the sport. As she went to learn under an local wrestler to learn the ropes. Two years later she was being offered an try out Match with Law, and after winning was offered an deal that they would continue to train her while she competed for them on the main roster.
So here she is as nobody is going to keep this Valkyrie down for long. As if she gets knocked down,Astrid will always come back up more determined that before. So in the words of one of her idols 'just bring it"
