Personality:
Kat is a self-centered person. This came to happen thanks to her harsh upbringing and the difficulties she had to face along her life. She just prioritizes her own safety and comfort before anything, which makes her a little bit of a hermit, isolating from others while on her private life due to her trust issues. Inside a ring she is ruthless and dominant, not seeking to give her rivals any quarter. She follows a somehow cynical view of the world that applies to her job at LAW: she basically think that in order to see great heroes in wrestling they need a big villain to face and test them, and she’s the one to fill that role.
Past/History:
Kat’s early life wasn’t an easy one. She was born into a broken home. Her father was a gambling addict and her mother took it to despise him and also the young Kat for no reason at all. Growing up for her early years in this home wasn’t easy, but after some time she got used to it once she learnt the most valuable lesson, one that would accompany her for long years after that: take care of yourself above everything. She started developing a sixth sense for trouble and to avoid getting mixed in it as much as possible, not compromising much when confrontation was unavoidable. This helped her as she developed into a woman, but made her some kind of a hermit, someone that would rather be left alone than trust others, since no one she had trusted before had been of any use.
Following her core beliefs Kat reached enough age to flee from her home. At first she was at risk of becoming a good-for-nothing like her parents, but soon she managed to get by when she got a job as a barista in a club. She wasn’t precisely a charmer but the owner was looking for someone with her no-bullshit appeal, someone to serve drinks and not get involved and that was her. For some time it looked like it was enough for Kat to live a peaceful life, but soon something unexpected happened. Now that her survival was granted she had some time to develop likings and hobbies. The club she worked at had a side-show in the form of wrestling, where amateur young women tried her best in non-scripted but not-so-good matches. It attracted people though, and one day the owner asked Kat to fill in for one of the wrestlers who became injured. She managed to destroy her rival by scissoring her to unconsciousness in front of a crowd that roared in approval. Kat took a liking to the thrill, the domination, that eat or be eaten atmosphere. It was intoxicating for her. Gradually she started getting some formal training in grappling and with time she was the main atraction at the club she worked at. Life was good to her for the first time.
That wasn’t the end to Kat’s good times though, since her biggest oportunity yet was just around the corner. It looked like a LAW representative, a scouter in search for talent, happened to witness one of her matches and demanded to meet her. He told her that she was still rough around the edges but that with some more training she could join LAW’s rosted. Seeing how she was ruthless inside a ring he asked her what kind of fighter was she going to be, what would she fight for. To that Kat replied by letting him know that she was no face wrestler, no hero expecting the crowd’s love. She would test anyone who thought of themself as golden or heroic and see how they really were. She wanted to see if LAW’s heroes were worthy of the title and if they weren’t in LAW’s throne would sit a Dark Queen. Her previous employer still resents that meeting since it was the day Kat signed a contract for LAW.
