Fighting Style:
Please I always keep things fair
Raven is always looking to find something to use to her advantage. It be finding the physical edge, playing with her opponents mind, finding some weapons, light cheating never hurt. Nothing is ever really out of Raven’s wheel house. The match type might actually hold Raven back depending. No one is perfect, so Raven is finding that chink in their armor whether they like it or not. One weakness leading into some other weakness, or weakening whatever strength you had. Raven isn’t all nefarious though, she is plenty good in a brawl. Knowing full well how to punch, kick, throw and slam like the best of them. The nefarious stuff is just another tool in her shed.

Since Raven looks for weaknesses. If people can hold strong for long enough, Raven is going to have to do things the hard way. Raven also isn’t perfect, speed and aerials aren’t a good match for her. Going more on that point, Raven can easily be punished by people who are true masters of one. Since Raven is no full powerhouse like Yang, not a speedster like Ruby, not as technical as Weiss, not perfect like Pyrrha. So its not uncommon for Raven to lose out in some stat.

Battle Stats:
Yeah I know, aged like fine wine
Strength: 8/10: Raven kept this up throughout her years. The rough part about matches were always her favorite to begin with.
Speed: 6/10: Age definitely slowed Raven down. Not enough to be a sloth. But enough where speedsters can use this against her
Stamina: 8/10: Going the long mile, Raven isn’t tuckering herself out. You go 100 miles, Raven goes 100 miles
Endurance: 9/10: The years of almost death matches helped Raven keep her head on her. Even though she’s in a match where it could come off
Defense:7/10: Years of getting hit in the head with so many weapons taught Raven the hard way how to defend.
Technique: 7/10: Actually would’ve been lower, but with age comes experience and technique. Something Raven is not shy about in using
Wrestling Stats:
Strikes: 9/10: Raven’s fist in someone’s face is a feeling she will always love.
Powerhouse: 8/10: Shit doesn’t quite stick if you don’t have some power behind it.
Submissions: 8/10: Breaking arms and legs are nothing new for Raven.
Counters:8/10: Considering her endurance is so high. Raven has plenty of time to find her counter punch or counter submission
Aerials: 5/10: High risk isn’t something Raven cares for. So she naturally neglected this part

Personality
My way or the highway really
Spoiler
Raven is cynical, patronizing, selfish and stubborn. She believed that she did her daughter Yang a “kindness” by not sticking around. Raven is more intimidating the less you know about her. But in reality Raven isn’t this hard ass that she shows herself to be. She can care about people, just not a lot of them. Raven pays attention to people she finds interesting. Making a note if she can use them for later. Her overconfidence is plain to see, which might bite her in the ass more than she wants to admit.

Given her upbringing, Raven has a "survival of the fittest" mentality, and she has little issues with ending careers of whomever , indirectly or otherwise. Raven could be completely in the wrong in a situation, but yet still convinces herself that she is right. Raven though has a bad habit of taking newer wrestlers easily. Wanting to play with them more than fight them. That said Raven is a strong believer of Eye for an Eye. Yet with no one at her side. Deep down Raven looks for something she can truly call home.

History:
Don’t ask questions, you read? Okay now you know. Leave it there
Spoiler
Raven isn’t someone to dwell on the past. But she isn’t dumb enough to not try and forget it. After all she just might end up repeating it if that happens. Raven was born into an abusive family. If it wasn’t her alcoholic father beating her, then it was her mother constantly berating her. It didn’t take many beatings for Raven to have a negative view on life. Raven considered herself cursed to this violence. Somehow convinced that she deserved it. This abusive life actually steeled Raven for life’s many coming troubles. Like any kid though Raven wore her emotions on her sleeve. So she carried this negativity to school, that said it didn’t take much of anything for that negativity to be anger. Anger that would find its way onto some poor soul. Raven constantly got into fights, so many fights actually that her entire class and more were scared. By that point Raven was picking fights with the upperclassmen. Some fights weren’t won but she didn’t lose every fight. Raven refused to complain about her situation because she refused to be a quitter. An idea that Raven’s mother beat into her, constantly calling her one. If Raven was going to make her life better it’d be through her own way. She would hold on, she would roll with the punches, she would endure.

The first moment she could Raven got the hell out of her house. Figuring out her life alone would come later. Raven would eventually talk her way into working a janitorial job in a building for a place to stay. The pay was horrible, but something was better than nothing. Raven also had a place to stay it so to her it was a steal. It wasn’t like a life like this was something Raven was looking for. No she wanted more than this. For all of those years spent in that house. She deserved it. But just because Raven deserved it, doesn’t mean anyone was going to give it to her. Raven would still have to work for it. The usual path people take here is getting multiple jobs. Trying to get multiple streams of income. Fuck that, Raven wanted to get money fast. Ethics be damned, even though Raven still had her limits. Sure the random odd job came in, but it wasn’t like Raven was doing anything unthinkable. Now that the money was coming in, Raven felt like she was just going through the motions. Raven never really gave a shit about people who went on about a greater purpose. It’d be fucking nice to have some sort of direction Raven thought to herself.

Day by day, Raven went through the motions. Eventually finding a better place, finally eating fancy food and wearing comfortable clothes. She was missing something though, where was the excitement in her life. Nice life was one thing, but a boring life is something else entirely. So going back to her roots, Raven just started picking alleyway fights with whomever. Fights in these places, it was only a matter of time until Raven fought someone who might’ve been holding. One of these fights might’ve been her life. Not that Raven much cared. Though the fights ended up giving herself a name in the streets. Despite not being in a gang people knew Raven’s name. So it didn’t take long for Raven to get one shady invite to make great money fighting. Considering the people she knew. Raven knew this was some underground fightclub or something. Eh fuck it, what’s the worse that could happen Raven thought as she went to the venue. Plenty of familiar faces, Raven even saw the guy who gave her the janitorial job. Raven thought that tonight would be a say to scout things out. To see if this thing is really her speed. What Raven didn’t know is that her invite was more than just to sit and watch. The MC of the event would single out Raven and call her down for the main event. Giving her some sort of stage name that she definitely didn’t agree to. Not being one to say no to a fight Raven took off her jacket and grabbed some gloves nearby. What followed was a violent and bloody match. Raven barely won the match, it was thanks to a curbstomp that she got the victory. Injuries aside, Raven didn’t hate the cheers and the feeling of winning. Even more, Raven didn’t hate the cash she got right after. Not even fully healed Raven asked when is the next one. For the first time, Raven finally found her path.

Fight after fight, Raven was breaking down her body just to build it up. Bats, chairs, barb wire, chains, name a weapons used in a match. Raven probably got hit by it or used it herself. Raven got used to the crazy shit they would add to the matches. Raven for the first time was living lavish, having more money she could spend. All she had to do was beat some people’s teeth in. It was a fair trade in her view. At some point though the cheers weren’t doing it for her. It was fine that the underground knew her and celebrated her, or hated her depending where you bet. Another first for Raven was wanting something more. She wanted the world to know and cheer for her. Fighting is something she’d die for. Which is something that may have been literal. So using the legally questionable money she had. Raven put herself into a proper and public wrestling show. The arena was definitely bigger than anything she was used to. The cheers almost made her go deaf. That wasn’t all though, the match even felt different. Despite this being the most vanilla fight has been in. It somehow felt just as fun or even more fun than her almost death matches. This feeling was something she wasn’t going to let go.

Making it into the big leagues. Raven was quick into making a name for herself. Monster heel was one of the status they gave her. But despite being the bad guy in so many situations. Raven still got the cheers. Sometimes more than the good guy. These people liked Raven for who and what she was. Not like the uptight pricks from before that just wanted to see two people beat each other to death. This was a life she just couldn’t leave behind. Raven would just go faster and faster.

Even the fastest people have to slow down. Which is exactly what Raven did when some guy she was talking to. Somehow became something serious. Serious to the point where Raven was pregnant. The craziest thing is that she was talked into having the kid. Thousands of things were going through her mind. Raven had no idea what to do with a kid. Hell the most she knew was from TV and that was hardly realistic. Yet even with all of her worries, Raven’s supposed boyfriend at the time was able to calm all of those worries. Convincing them that they would find a way. Yet with a baby on the way and Raven not being able to move like before. Raven started thinking, thinking about the past. Raven for the first time was scared. What if her child went through the same things she did? Could that even be possible? Sure Raven was a dick, but she wouldn’t hit or insult her kid, would she? Then the idea of her being cursed came back into her head. What if the kid is cursed? What if Raven just cursed this kid to a life of pain.

All of that faded away once the child was born. A beautiful healthy baby girl named Yang Xiao Long. Just one look into the lilac eyes and everything seemed to fade away. Like nothing mattered but Yang. The years following were confusing, but great. Raven finally found something to call home. Yet all of that happiness would fade away when Raven’s temper got the better of her and took it out on Yang. It was an accident, she didn’t mean it, it was in the moment. Horrified by what she did, Raven once again convinced herself that she was cursed. It was like something like this was impossible for her to have. But wanting to give her daughter a second chance. Raven left, even when her significant other at the time fought back. Saying they could make it work. Raven just admitted that she would just mess everything up and bring everyone down. These unfounded truths were imbedded into her since birth. Since no one was there for Raven growing up or even could get her into a room with a therapist. This truth of hers was not going anywhere. What about Yang of course Yang would be brought up. Listen, do what you have to. Make Yang hate me if it works. I can’t be around you guys Raven said which hurt to say for the first time.

That day she left Raven steeled her heart. Inside she felt as though she made the right decision. Locking away that part of Raven’s heart for her sake. Things would go back to how they were. Raven fighting the big and dangerous matches. Raven was always to scared to look back, scared because she might end up going back. “This is the best for everyone” Raven convinced herself. Probably consigning herself to be the villain in Yang’s story.

The universe has a cruel sense of humor. The trick is knowing how to take a joke. But where the fuck is the humor in this. More than a decade has passed at this point. Raven already used to being on her own. Why was she in the ring with her own daughter. Why was Yang staring ate Raven with enough hate that the people in the front row could feel it. Raven already locked away that piece of her heart so long ago. But seeing Yang as a grown woman almost brought back and unlocked that piece. Almost being the important word. Raven defaulted to her usual self. Knowing full well how Yang would take it.

The fight that ensued was as emotional and violent as you can expect. With people as anger fueled as Yang and Raven. There was no one who could talk reason into them. Yang threw plenty of punches that Raven thought could’ve killed her. Raven probably deserved it, but she would never admit it. Wasn’t going to lose to her daughter either.

This singular fight had left people taking sides with Raven. There was no middle ground for her. Hate her or love her. Even with that Raven still did her thing. After all those voices would turn into cheers at some point. Where was the next step of her career you might ask? Well once her name and heat got big enough. Raven had her pick of the litter when it came to her next destination. Choosing L.A.W because of the freedom it gave her, the pay wasn’t quite bad either.
