Personality: Over the top and energetic in almost every she does, Salem is a boundless source of joy and enthusiasm in nearly any situation. It's almost cliche in how much she loves being around people, socializing and making others days brighter. She has a very big competitive streak though, and a fire for it that can very rarely turn sadistic. She primarily plays for the crowd, loving to win but not if it comes at the cost at the fans disliking her.
Outside of the ring, Salem doesn't have a malicious bone in her body, and acts as if her body hasn't been trained to wrestle for nearly half of her life. She often acts like a mentor for new talent or jobbers, bringing them under her wing and helping them train or work out.
History & Background: From a young age, Salem was hooked onto wrestling. Seeing such athletic people go at it in fierce action was electrifying to her young mind, and she never let go of this interest. Working out into her later teen years, she trained and worked for years to be as strong, fast and durable as she could be! Finding herself in the local indie scene, there would be little struggle for the rising star. Granted, her personal life would slowly creep in, and Salem would find herself with some conflict within the organization's management, them not taking to kindly that someone like her was so dominant in a simple scene.
Organizing an easy exit for Salem, another company was chomping at the bit to pick her up, and she was more than willing to accept given she was out of a job. The Amber Wrestling Association would be her home for 3 years, giving her the majority of her wrestling experience and prowess. It was a whole different level of competition, as there was an established ring of talent that weren't nearly as welcoming as her former group. Granted, the lower tiered wrestlers took her in with open arms, so Salem didn't have any big reasons to be concerned. She would eventually get one though, as new rivalries brewed and cliques formed, the established Shooting Star found herself isolated other than a handful of newer competitors. Despite her dreams of claiming an AMA belt, Salem would be squashed in her first and only title match, brutally beaten and sent into a temporary hiatus that would become permanent.
In the end, she found herself alone, with the heart to wrestle still beating in her soul. But, she couldn't go back there, not to an organization that just wanted to her to be humiliated over and over again.
That's when she found an online add about the League of Anime Wrestling, like a beacon for her lost soul. It was another opportunity to get familiar with a new roster, to hopefully climb the ranks and find greatness! For the first time in a while, Salem found herself with a surge of hope, her dream of one day reaching the summit had a path.
Japanese can't be that hard to learn...right?

- Starlock: Usually used on an opponent down on their stomach, Salem wraps her legs around their neck from on top. Then she start to move backwards, pulling her legs so her now trapped opponent is on their knees face up squeezed by her powerful thighs! This gives her the chance to bend their arms whilst keeping away from her opponent's grasp staying behind them.
