While it may not seem like it, she is more than willing to make things bloody and do hardcore bouts, don weapons and be a little mean. Her demeanour in almost every case is calm, composed, respectful but ruthless if she has to be, supplemented by easy takedowns, slams, a few submissions and a couple signature kicks. She can headbutt like a truck. Combo like its Fast Food. And she never forgets to keep it classy before and after a bell. Just that everything between will be merciless, but impersonal.

The Character
Maisilyn Madison is a devil in a suit. A well-dressed stalwart proprietress with a love for leather gloves and a penchant for doing things slightly unorthodox. She’s a gambling addict that is always willing to bet ( Skill or Luck based ). A heavy rye drinker. Someone who likes to keep her company open and diverse. She likes her pleasantries, gentry and loves her bespoke three-piece suits. Her taste overall is expensive, stylish and slightly old fashioned. She's a well-mannered, formal and friendly woman. Also a bit of a flirt and very sexually active, even if it doesn’t seem like it. She loves to give, offer praise and build rapport, as one of her core beliefs sees building and maintaining relationships as a means to living life. Swing is her favourite music, as in her past life ( early 20s ), she tried to make it in America as a Big Band singer. Even though that failed, she still remains a revivalist.
So what does she do for a living now?
She runs a hotel in Osaka Bay. Her home. Hotel Madison, or simply “Madison's” on the front. A family-owned establishment that is almost thirty years old, dating back to the 90s in Japan’s lost decade. What sets it apart from first glance is the Gatsby theming that reflects the Noir era of prohibition. Here you can expect to be treated like priority number one, with a house robe and slippers that fit your size, a room to your decor, pillow and blanket preferences, 24/7 room service, dry cleaning, a restaurant with live performances ( and sometimes Bunny Girl waitresses ), and a cocktail lounge on a higher floor.
It hasn’t been easy though.
Not too long ago, they were on the verge of selling. Her parents were old and wanted to retire. But when Maisilyn became the new manager, everything changed. She revitalised and improved on the old aesthetic. 1930s. The Open Bottle became one of the Hotel’s centerpieces that offered a classy experience with aesthetically pleasing servers. It also offers live jazz performances, occasionally sporting the proprietress herself.
But that wasn’t everything that changed. No, no, no.
In perhaps an unexpected note, Maisilyn signed an agreement with LAW to begin hosting specialised matches on a specific floor. Apartment fights, matted wrestling adventures both explicit and safe for work, and whatever else is feasible with the space. POW accommodations are also another feature, offering customized amenities per request from meals / desserts, sex toys and alcohol cocktails from a mobile bar.
And where does Maisilyn live? In the penthouse. Tall windows. Living room, refrigerated bar, bedroom and bathroom. Amenities. And a jacuzzi just outside on the roof. She lives just fine. You would think someone called “Boss” by customer and staff alike has everything under control, but that’s a contentious debate that she keeps hidden in table linen. She doesn’t like being prodded about it, which goes for the rest of her secrets.
Truthfully, her changes and upgrades are a huge fucking gamble. Hotel Madison is coming off a rough time of steadily declining reputation and has nearly closed more than once. She’s frequently making her purchasing director queasy and her sales & marketing director do a flip when she introduces another risque element. ( *Cough* Bunny girls *Cough* ). She recruits particularly odd ball staff at times as per her presumed ability to read potential and character. Part of this involves an implicit bet. She enjoys an employee that wants the job and has a bit of character on top.
But don’t take her leniency for granted. There’s nothing to irk her more than someone taking advantage of her, her staff or her Hotel. So do behave. It wouldn’t be the first time she broke a face against a wall because someone decided to throw their glass at a server.
So what’s she like privately? Maisilyn is someone who likes to remain busy. So it’s often her public face and private one that merge. She always needs to maximise her time with something productive, and it’s only when she’s too exhausted does she slow down. Preferably, when she does, she can keep occupied by making origami or reading about a wide range of topics. Though her favourite would have to be about occultism and haitian voodoo.
She doesn’t like to be handed things without her gloves on. Even then she has specific handling gloves. She doesn’t like being directed ( most of the time ). Or having someone raise their voice to her. She remembers well when wronged and makes apologies as a matter of principle before continuing. Her main outgoing interests are scenic walks, going for drives, runs and dining at her favourite spots in town. She occasionally likes to change dresses to something more loose and go clubbing.

This section will be used to expand on some of the main characters around Hotel Madison. They will likely not officially wrestle so much as make cameos in Hotel threads, ringside possibly and maybe one day their own storylines. As the recently installed head of HR, she takes her job seriously and is proud of her position. Which is, in her words, taking craziness and making it functional. How she plans on doing this is by acting like a literal Judge by hosting what's called "Hotel Court." This is where employees and others gather in the cocktail lounge or some other place within the hotel and a trial begins. Witnesses and testimony, evidence and plea deals. At the end, there will be a verdict. Which can precede punishments from extra hours, docked pay, firing, to silliness like pie to the face, crawling in the lobby or trial by combat.

How she ended up at the Hotel was a chance encounter with Maisilyn herself. The two became smitten, with the two being quite fond of one another and locked into each other's orbits. They both catch a smile and blush that makes each them a bit nervous. Working at a hotel is teaching Maze normal customs and needed people skills, along with integrating with society, something she has struggled to do because of her past.

Hina is often self-critical into self-defeat loop, with confidence being a rarity. And thus! Every ounce of praise is a like of superpower serum, as that seems to ignite her into a flurry of work ethic that sees her actually perform well. It's still, however, a glass system.
At home, Hina likes to spend her time writing screenplays that emphasize traits she wish she had. She has entered several screenplay competitions, and although unsuccessful thus far, she has continued to make this her main hobby. Her second hobby is spending the whole day re-arranging her apartment to reflect an arbitrary whim, likely from OCD and struggles with attention span as she lets TV shows play loudly while she does so. In the past, she was hoping to go into Medicine until she gave up. She regrets this. She knew she was sheltering herself, so decided to get out there. This manifested with Hotel Madison, where she applied for each and every job until HR HAD to call her in to at give a terse response. Someway, somehow. She ended up getting the job.

Her grand ambitions are to have a good respectable position in the hotel, a good salary, enough free time to expand her ventures and to one day contribute something massive to the hotel itself. Be it another restaurant or spa. And thus she works very hard to improve her standing. She has been a server, a waitress captain and now decided she wants to be behind the bar itself. Thusly, she currently works in the cocktail lounge, entertaining and talking to more laid-back guests. The Hotel holds her as a centrepiece in that lounge, with her looks to be strongly important, as well as her demeanour to remain soft and likeable.
This isn't really forced on her. It was actually her idea when they were thinking of what to do about the cocktail bar. Previously, she had trouble with alcohol as leftover baggage from the modelling industry and many failed relationships. Though she mostly blames herself. It left her had a temper and entitled ego. And thus, she wanted to make this space work for herself. Though her rage can still slip at times. Primarily when she's hit on.
In her free time, she delves into pottery, gardening and binging drama TV shows. You can find her potted plants around the Hotel, which she insists on maintaining herself. She also provides some vegetables to F&B section. At a good price of course. Her and Hina are actually very good friends and spend their weekends together most of the time.
