Born in a poor neighborhood in Barcelona, Isabelle grew up without any real goals in life. Just making it through another day was an achievement on its own. Born the oldest out of several children, Isabelle's life was filled with responsibility growing up. Ever since the second child in their family, the young Spanish woman would become one of the primary caretakers in her home. Her time was spent on others without dedicating much time to herself. Be it cooking, cleaning, bathing, homework, or household etiquette, Isabelle was always helping someone else with something. With several siblings to help raise, along with a household to maintain alongside her ailing mother, she developed a mindset that put the wellbeing of others first, as opposed to her own. She grew a diverse set of skills...on top of gaining an understanding of people deep down. People desire things...it's in their nature...and her family was no different. She NEVER lost her temper with her siblings. She knew they had needs and wants. She tried her best to meet them. Even if she couldn't give them exactly what they wanted, she always tried to fill that void. Deep down, Isabelle slowly grew to enjoy helping others...it became her desire.
Later on in life, she was attending high school, finishing up her studies but without any semblance of direction. She couldn't afford a higher education, but she wanted to help her family out by earning money, bringing an end to a lot of their problems. Her dad was getting older, as was her mother, and her siblings were only getting bigger, which meant they needed to eat more. No job in the city would pay well enough for a soon-to-be high school graduate with no prospects. Isabelle had to figure something out...and then, like a sign from the heavens, a flyer fell at her feet, carried on the wind from a nearby telephone pole. A local wrestling promotion was looking for some new talent to fill in a gap in their roster for their upcoming show. Isabelle didn't think much of it at first...but when she looked at the prize money for the winner, her eyes widened. A hefty sum that would certainly help to pay for bills, rent, lunch money, toys, supplies...so on and so forth...all this just for dressing up and fighting in front of a crowd? Isabelle was nervous, but with her family in mind, she took the opportunity...Little did she know, this would be the spark that would light a fire in her for the next twelve years and counting...
Isabelle wrestled that night, and she wrestled WELL. She was a natural talent with great physicality and stamina, helped by the fact that she had to wrangle and wrestle so many of her little siblings to keep them in order, on top of remaining alert at all times, with them running around nearly every waking hour of the day. The promoter approached her with an offer, a full-time contract...it took some convincing to get her parents to sign on...but after graduating high school, Isabelle Romero became a professional wrestler. She spent WEEKS training, learning all about the world of pro-wrestling...focusing on techniques, endurance, strength, mic skills, personality, etc...Once she had the ropes, Isabelle built her career steadily, becoming a talented workhorse figure, a model wrestler, and a star in the making. Despite a few rough patches throughout her career, she made a name for herself in Spain, with many calling her the 'gold standard' of wrestling. With a promising career burgeoning in front of her, Isabelle took up the moniker of 'Gold Rush'...wrestling's next big thing. Years later, she would be approached with the contract offer of a lifetime...given to her by a well-regarded promotion from across the seas known as LAW.
Personality: Warm, benevolent, soft, and cheerful...These are words that many would use to describe Isabelle after knowing her for so long. The Spanish woman is a hard worker who trained herself up from nothing. She's motivated, talented, and focused...but above all else, she is kind. She doesn't lose sight of her goals, but her aspirations do not influence her ego. No amount of success or failure will shift her core. She comes from humble beginnings and tries to remain a positive figure for good. Due to this, she comes off as somewhat of a mother figure to those around her. Her soft demeanor and gentle voice give her a way with words that relaxes people. She has a kind soul that's warm and radiant like the summer sun. She manages to be a soothing presence in the locker room, helping to ease the stress and take the pressure off those with her support and encouragement. When it comes to people she grows 'closer' to, she will devote herself to giving them her all, both in and out of the ring.
