Growing up in New York City isn't always the easiest thing, especially when you have a background like Giselle. Coming from a well-off, aristocratic, but HEAVILY authoritative and traditional family, Giselle was always told what to do, where to go, and how to live her life. She HATED it. Over the years, the toll it took on her became too much to bear and eventually, she snapped. She began to act far looser in private, finding any escape from her public life under the watchful gaze of her parents, trapped and surrounded by an endless line of political suitors. This was no way for a woman to live. She stumbled across some books about the 'Jazz Age' of America...the 'Roaring 20s' as some put it. She was utterly enamored by all the freedom women her age had. She took the ideas they spread to heart as she resorted to partying and drinking late into the night. Often times she was going out on the town with the few friends she had, and sneaking away more and more, much to her parent's ire. She utterly DESPISED all the rules that controlled her life. Eventually, she was caught red-handed, and her face was plastered across the papers, bringing unwanted negative press to her family.
Now at nineteen years old, she was cut off and ostracized from her family, immediately kicked out as a result of her scandalous and unruly nature. "There was no saving her"...That's what her parents said as they turned their backs on their only daughter...All that lip service in order to save face amongst their high-society friends. Giselle had nowhere to go and no funds to fuel her eccentric lifestyle...but she didn't care much for that. She'd rather be broke and free than trapped and rich. Still, she had issues to worry about. For one, money was becoming a tight problem...One she literally couldn't afford to ignore. That's when she came across a poster for a wrestling show...One open to volunteers for a CASH PRIZE if someone were to win. She had taken part in some high school mat wrestling as an extracurricular as a junior and senior. It was another way that she managed to screw with her parents as they had demanded she signed up for SOME club, but they detested the idea of wrestling, stating that it wasn't very lady-like...precisely why Giselle did it. With nowhere to turn, and some might say against her better judgment, she signed up and was fitted in a typical one-piece leotard with some boots and padding for her knees and elbows. Later on that night, Giselle partook in her first "professional wrestling" match. She felt nervous, worried, and stressed out. But from the moment the bell rang, she fell in LOVE with it. Using her expertise from her days on the mat, she managed to quickly subdue and overwhelm her opponent with her body, putting them down for an easy three count and earning herself quite a bit of cash.
She had never felt so alive!!! The thrill was AMAZING. She wanted more...she NEEDED more. This was the great escape that she was searching for. Forget her parents, because Giselle now had something even better!!! PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING!!! But what kind of direction would she go in as a wrestler? Where was her motivation? All she was right now was some random, disowned young woman with only a couple hundred dollars to her name...that's when a lightbulb went off in her mind, sparking her creative juices!!! She remembered the books she read about the 'Roaring 20s'...the amazing Jazz Age of America, the 'Prohibition Era', and the idea of 'Flappers'...all of this led to her coming up with the single-greatest idea of her life. She took to wrestling like a moth to a flame, but what was the point if she wasn't going to have a little fun with it? Everyone else got to have neat characters, so she'd do the same for herself!!!
She saved her money and bought the best sewing machine she could find. She began to work on her costume, researching 1920s fashion centered around women. She crafted this rebellious persona for herself, embodying everything that her parents hated, everything that she had learned from 'Flapper culture'. Then one night, a star was born in the form of the "Cobalt Swan". Since then, Giselle had been partaking in wrestling as a career for over two decades of her life, watching generations come and go as she remained in the game, turning to a life of partying and pleasure when she wasn't performing in the ring. Then one day, a letter shows up on her doorstep, a CASTING CALL for the world's largest professional wrestling promotion. It didn't take long for the woman to eagerly accept the offer and make plans to travel halfway around the world to the "Land of the Rising Sun"...LOOK OUT LAW, FOR YOU ARE ABOUT TO BE GRACED BY THE COBALT SWAN!!!
Personality: Decades of partying have left the woman as a wild child, even in her forties. Despite her rampant penchant for nightlife, the highlife, and parties, Giselle maintains this aura of excellence and gracefulness. Instead of coming off as a bratty child throwing temper tantrums and wasting her life away on booze and clubbing, Giselle is a more refined woman who flaunts her charm and finesse wherever she goes, becoming the life of the party and the talk of the town. She has men and women dying at her feet as she turns heads when she walks by. She's a total beauty queen and a pretty fun personality to hang around, so long as you can keep up with her pace. One would think someone her age should slow down, but Giselle doesn't know the meaning of the word...at least, not until she's in the ring. When she wrestles, her pace becomes drastically different...she moves with caution, but she doesn't seem nervous or afraid. She moves with a strong sense of purpose yet remains agile and loose, almost uncaring. Her flirtatious nature comes into play by using it to distract and throw off her opponents. However, if she manages to seduce one, she won't pass up the opportunity to add another tally to her body count.

Strategy: When in the ring, Giselle prefers to use her technical finesse and her feminine charms to her advantage. She goes for smooth, sensual grapples in order to rile her opponent up and get in their head before applying her primary source of offense, which relies on quick slams, tight submissions, and painful slaps. She's also prone to groping and kissing her opponents in-between or even DURING some of her moves, utilizing all parts of her body to her advantage when it comes to her flirtatious yet graceful fighting style. There's not a WHOLE lot of depth to her move set, but she makes the most of her experience, refining all of her techniques and focusing on the same ones over and over again. She prefers her way of fighting rather than performing all these new-fangled moves...if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
