Signatures:

Hydromagnesite (Frog Splash): One of the harder chemical formulas she taught upon in her job as a chemistry teacher. She honors it going up top and hitting a body splash from the air making her opponent spit out upon impact.

Periodic Elements (Repeated roundhouse kicks to the head): Mary repeatedly hits her opponent with roundhouse kicks in a complete circle shouting out periodic elements like Nitrogen, Hydrogen, Potassium, and Iron.

Siderite (Ripcord Lariat with theatrics): One of her favorite chemical formulas to teach. She grabs her opponent by the arm and makes a C-shape three times with her free arm before using it to clothesline them across the throat.

Finishers:

The DNA Helix (Twisting Ankle Lock): Mary grabs both of her opponent’s legs and crosses them together holding both in a painful hold combining the wrench on the ankles with tension in the legs.

Glucose Hold (Spilt-Legged Boston Crab): Mary sits down on her opponent’s back gluing them to the canvas and grabbing their legs to spread them out. She grabs the ankles and push back as hard as she can unleashing pain onto them triple the amount. However, she also doesn’t notice it gives the audience a very impressionable look of their opponent.

Background:

Originally born in Tampa, Florida in 1979, Mary knew from a young age that the wonders of science never failed to amaze her. She would always be amazed by anatomy, astronomy, and chemistry (her personal favorite science) and Mary’s ultimate goal in life was to work in the field of science. By the time she graduated high school and went into the University of Tampa, Mary took a small teaching side gig at a local science museum lecturing mostly groups on school field trips. However, the school wasn’t really doing much for her and she found a better school in Missouri so she transferred out of state. Mary moved to Rolla, Missouri and enrolled herself into the Missouri University of Science and Technology finishing her bachelor’s degree there for the rest of college.

Mary further worked on her master’s degree and eventually received her PhD at the age of 28. She would be a fully certified teacher and began applying for teaching jobs settling down with her husband, Frank, in his hometown of Lincoln, Nebraska. Mary also had three children with her husband named Jacob, Cecelia, and Lily. She found a job at a middle school in Lincoln spending three years teaching there and then moved to a high school where she still teaches to this day. Mary has also taught domestically and internationally. Mary has hosted college prep science courses in California, Oregon, Washington (state and D.C.), Ohio, Kentucky, Michigan, New York, and Minnesota. Internationally, Mary has taught in Britain, Germany, India, and Japan.

Mary noticed that her students talked about professional wrestling whenever she would try to teach and that put an insecurity in her mind that she was starting to sound boring. Mary always feared of being a failure growing up and this wasn’t helping her as her reputation could be in jeporady. Mary watched some wrestling one night with her son and she was admittedly not the biggest fan at first nearly falling asleep halfway through the taping. She didn’t understand the long matches, but thought some entertainment segments were amusing. Mary decided to apply for a wrestling school in order to win back her students’ interest and she became a really old rookie at 40 years old. Mary often got her butt kicked in sparring as she was older and couldn’t move quite as fast, but she found a home in old school wrestling and chain wrestling where Mary could take control better along with developing a love for submissions to take it easy in the ring.

Mary made her official in-ring debut at an independent show hosted by the high school she taught at and won her first match with a Triangle Choke submission getting cheered heavily by her students. From there, Mary kept up her career in 2019, but was mostly a jobber against skillful opponents only getting the occasional wins here and there. Mary currently works as a wrestler part-time taking bookings when an extra paycheck is needed, but she received a part-time appearance contract from LAW after her students practically hyped her up on social media and plastered her first match everywhere. Mary was flustered to know this, but signed on and got the ability to choose which matches she would wrestle.

Personality:

Mary is an easily flustered woman when it comes to wrestling and tries to keep it on the down low not wanting many people to know about her side career. Mary is very enthusiastic about science and chemistry so she is open to talk about it with like-minded people. Mary is also very motherly having raised three kids and feels really guilty if she feels she hurt her opponent too hard especially the younger ones. She will offer to take them to the infirmary or the locker room if they need assistance. Mary is a kind soul that wouldn’t hurt a fly usually, but if you badmouth her profession or her specifically, Mary will unleash a rage upon opponents in the ring.

Wrestling Style:

Mary is very methodical in her wrestling and applies strategy before everything. She normally sticks to what she was taught favoring suplexes and simple slams over aerial or power moves. To her, Mary can use wrestling to further teach the world about science and demonstrate certain formulas in her moves. Due to her growing age, Mary wanted moves where she wouldn’t risk injury and jeopardize her teaching job back in Lincoln. Submissions seemed the best fit for her as she could take it easy in the ring and still dish out pain to her opponent, but she does feel afraid to go too far as she isn’t a sadist.

Preferred Matches:

Mary prefers singles, tag team, and submission matches the most as she is more used to them and they seem less dangerous. Mary has had only one hardcore match and it wasn’t a pleasant experience for her so she hasn’t gone to the extreme a lot since. Mary wouldn’t mind doing Last Woman Standing or Falls Count Anywhere as that would give her more leeway and open environment to use. As Mary is married, she will absolutely not do Hentai or substance matches getting way too flustered if offered and her attitude towards them is “just how perverted can this sport be?” Overall, Mary likes to keep it simple and sweet with her match types.

Extra Trivia:

-Mary is a huge fan of soap operas and never misses an episode favoring General Hospital and The Young and The Restless.
-Mary also likes The Big Bang Theory and shows clips from episodes in her class saying they have valuable lessons to be taught about science.
-Mary has a couple crushes on actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Leonardo DiCaprio, but she will always deny them if confronted.
-Mary is very insecure about her sex appeal and doesn’t see herself as attractive a whole lot.
-Due to her demanding teaching job in Lincoln, Mary wrestles 15-20 matches per year so far.
-Mary is an old school gaming fan and her favorite system is the Nintendo 64 although she also owns her very own Switch. Her favorite games are Legend of Zelda, Splatoon, and Mario.
-Mary has also recently gotten into Japanese romance manga and keeps a hidden stash under her bed.
-Mary wasn’t the biggest fan of wrestling and almost wrote it off, but has come to love and respect the sport since her first match.
-Believe it or not, Mary has taught a few of LAW’s biggest wrestlers in their younger years like Gil, Kayla Grant, Ash Daniels, Cecelia Lombard, Marzia Servelli, Piper Sherwood, and Peggy McIntyre (albeit Peggy through online schooling).
