History: Before she came to the world of professional wrestling, Hana was already somewhat of a minor celebrity. The world first came to know her when she competed on a popular reality show, in which contestants would be voted on to determine the members of a pop music group. Hana was one of many aspiring young artists who saw themselves closer than ever to a shot at stardom.

Hana, however, was not particularly interested in going into a music career. Nor was she even that much of a fan of K-pop to begin with. There was only one reason she had applied for the show - to be on TV. And if she got her chance to be on TV, she knew she was going to make the most of it.

When the season began, Hana quickly established how she was going to stand out from the competition - she was going to mess with everyone around her. She antagonized the other contestants and the viewers alike, messing up other girls’ segments and stirring drama backstage, while her own performances showed little effort; in one case she stayed staring at the camera doing nothing for several minutes straight, baiting viewers and cameramen alike into thinking she was setting up something that never came. Despite rumors, Hana never harbored any ill will toward any of her fellow contestants, or toward the industry. The only answer for her behavior was the one she gave in an interview on the subject - ”It amused me.”

Needless to say, no one believed that Hana stood any chances of winning the contest. But that wasn’t what she was out to do. She was having the time of her life. And, although many viewers decried her antics as disrespectful and annoying, she soon gained a cult following of people who tuned in week after week just to see what she was going to do next, which led to her lasting longer on the show than anyone could have expected. Though she did, finally, get voted off, she didn’t care. She realized she had found her lot in life, and she was going to chase it.

Hana was quick to leverage the newfound attention into getting a spot on another reality show, where she kept up with more of the same shenanigans. One thing led to another, and she was kicked off the show, only to jump ship to another, and another after that when she kept being met with similar fates - but not without her notoriety growing in the process each time.

Before long, Hana decided she had bigger things on the horizon, and she wanted to branch out into competing as a wrestler. She found a trainer willing to show her the ropes, and she began to hone her skills - though she still integrated plenty of her usual tricks into it all, as she found they could be just as effective as they were amusing. Soon, she made her debut in the indies, originally making a few appearances in local shows in Korea. Her fans followed her to her matches, while many wrestling fans previously unaware of her were drawn to her personality - and her fame grew accordingly.

Soon, she made her first overseas appearance at a show in Japan, and with attention on her from the wrestling media growing at a rapid pace, it didn’t take long before she was offered a contract with LAW - which she took in a heartbeat, ready to bring her talents to a whole new stage.

Personality: In a word, Hana is a troll. She likes nothing more than annoying people and messing with their expectations, just to see how they’ll react so that she can laugh at the results. She’s flippant and only cares about things as far as they can provide her with some form of gratification, and she doesn’t have much in the way of long-term goals. She just chooses to live in the moment and take things as they come, and believes that a life lived without care is a life without regrets.

Due to her behavior, others can find Hana an annoyance, but she never takes anything personally or means anything malicious by what she does or how she treats people. If she does call anyone out directly, it’s likely an act to get a reaction out of them. She’s a very laid-back girl, and a bit of a loner, though it doesn’t bother her much and she’s content with where she is in life. After all, she’s on the upswing, living her best life, and she has no intentions of changing things.

Trivia:
  • Hana drinks heavily, but no one has ever seen her actually get drunk. It’s unknown if she has a very high alcohol tolerance, or if she’s just so weird and erratic normally that it’s impossible to tell when she’s drunk and when she isn’t.
  • She listens to a lot of music, and sometimes uses this to tune people out if she wants to ignore them.
  • The horned hat she wears to the ring is one she’s had ever since her first television debut, and has become somewhat of an iconic item for her. She also considers it to be lucky.
  • Hana has still never seen Squid Game.
  • Hana enjoys going to the beach, despite the fact that she sunburns very easily due to her pale skin.
  • As a teenager, Hana had a short-lived career as a graffiti artist.

Fighting Style: When it comes to wrestling, Hana’s in-ring style differs from a lot of her co-workers in being defined not so much by her moves, but what she does in addition to them - or, in some cases, in place of them. She’s developed a particular strategy she calls “Matador Style” - similar to how a matador taunts a bull into charging, she likes to continually taunt her opponent and goad them to strike while dodging their attacks to get them to waste their energy while she conserves her own, saving her effort for when she needs it most and only then delivering devastating strikes once her foe's guard is down. Hana has a thing for using unorthodox tactics and innovating moves, keeping her opponents guessing.

She also enjoys messing with her opponent’s heads, faking them out and playing with their expectations so that she can spring a trap on them when they least expect it. As such, she can be very difficult to read, and thus to counter, when her opponents don’t know what’s going through her mind at any given moment - which is just what she likes. Not only does it give her a competitive edge, it also means she gets to enjoy the look of shock on her opponents’ faces when she catches them completely off guard.

Favored Match Types: Hana has no particular preferences when it comes to match type, being that she likes to take things as they come, and she isn’t afraid to improvise on the spot. As long as she can get some enjoyment out of it, it’s fine in her book, and she usually manages to get some enjoyment out of anything - though whether everyone else around her finds it equally as fun as she does is another story.
