Due to her lighter weight Akane's speed is above average and is agile being able to take to the top rope easily. She lacks explosiveness due to lack of training, but can gas out slower opponents with her evasion skills.

One of Akane's strong suits, being able to build a lot of momentum and maintain a high work rate, however her lack in other attributes can tax her endurance when pushed hard.

Wrestling Style
Akane has adopted and adapted her sister, Shiina's, brawling style, using her agility and natural athleticism to her advantage. Generally more concerned with hurting her opponent for her sister's sake than winning her own matches, Akane isn't afraid to throw away a match with cheap shots and weapons, usually a chair. As a result she lacks the finesse that is usually synonymous with her physique as using shortcuts are more effective for her. Still she is more suited to tag team matches, being willing to perform cheap shots behind the referee's back and at her most extreme having the guts sacrifice herself her team. Although essentially being a cheater who's in ring work shows a lack of respect for the sport, her more comedic antics and heart can warm a crowd to her, as well as her dedication to her sister. Sometimes becoming a tool for revenge on those who attack Shiina she can often times get the crowd behind her.

Background
Akane Sai is the half sister of Shiina Sai, being related through their father. While her pre-teen years were spent mostly with her neglectful mother she would spend most of her teens being raised by Shiina, despite only being a year younger.
Akane's interest in combat is mainly due to her love for Shiina and Shiina's love for wrestling. While being steered clear of street fighting or fight clubs Akane would often train along side Shiina as a sparring partner and pick up tricks through osmosis, sometimes using learned techniques on her half brother.
At times Akane has shown an attitude problem. Although being for more girly than her sister, she gravitates to causing mischief for her own amusement. Due to her dysfunctional upbringing Akane can be overly affectionate to her sister and brother. She can be quite protective of her big sister and has been mistaken as being Shiina's girlfriend. Having some self-awareness of her quirky personality she can be quite shy around others with her rude tendencies almost being a way of letting go.
Being close to Shiina has given Akane direction in life as support for her hard working sister. While she enjoys being in the ring she has ambitions of being a wrestling manager rather than a champion. At the same time she holds down an admin job for an airline, which is her main excuse for not training.
With her sister by her side and something to aspire to, the Class Punk follows in her sister's footsteps to achieve her goals, donning similar gear to form a unit called After School Rebellion. While not being in the ring nearly as much as Shiina she is often ring side cheering on and aiding Shiina to victory while behind the scenes plotting moves for the Class Rebel to make.
