Appearance
Mona is a woman with a compact build, a fit core, and wide hips reminiscent of a gymnast. She looks as lithe as she is, but is much more powerful than her slender body would reveal. She tends to take some care for her appearance, and while her hair is wild it is often where she wants it to be, in a pair of long twintails. She wears enough makeup to keep herself attractive, but usually likes looking more natural.
Personality
Ostentatious and self-confident, Mona is always making bold claims about herself and her fortunes based upon her love for all things astrology. Nevermind that she has little in the way of astrological talent. She does her best to be entirely self-reliant, but she has an innate need to receive people's praise. She is also blunt, especially where her astrological predictions are involved. There is a reason she became a wrestler and didn't go into fortune telling.

Strategy: Mona is quick and evasive and likes to fight others by avoiding hits and coming back with her own strikes that often come from her powerful legs. She also likes to use her legs to leap up and snag opponents by the head, neck, or body and latch on to drag them down with her. A lot of her strategy involves staying standing, but when she does drag opponents down to the mats, she uses her legs and powerful glutes to stop their struggling.

Mona was a youngster too poor to pursue her love of all things astrology. The best she could do was to spend a great deal of time at the local library, reading a multitude of books about astrology and gathering what little information she could to start reading the stars and people. For a while she was able to set herself up as a fortune teller to make some money, but when most of her readings were cruel and few of them were accurate, she found herself stuck without another way to make any money to go to college.
But she stayed close to her loves at the library, and a worker there, Lisa Minci, asked Mona if she would like to intern at the library since she spent so much time there anyway and it could lead to a job. Mona agreed, but the job was long in coming, and she looked for something, anything, that could put money in her pocket. A dream one night, and a reading of the stars, told her what she should do when she saw herself as a supreme champion of the wrestling ring. Nevermind that she had fallen asleep that evening with the library's TV accidentally tuned into wrestling.
But Mona was convinced, and she tried it and liked it on the local scene. With lots of spare time, she shaped her body into that of a wrestler. Her only road block was that she would struggle to get into important money-making matches herself without a partner, since the league's owner preferred people to prove themselves in tag matches. Mona agonized until she accidentally spouted her need in front of Lisa, and the two became a wrestling force.
