Wrestling Information
Strategy:Of the Rodriguez trio, Carmen is the most advanced. Her striking power is top-notch, focused and precise, but she also boasts a better-than-average handling of more traditional wrestling techniques. Submissions, slams, and even a few aerial moves are within her wheelhouse. That being said, Carmen has been away from the wrestling world for a while, and is, admittedly, not at her peak, but can hopefully return there with time.
Style: Strike-Focused Grappling
Type: Boxer-Wrestler
Attitude to Hentai: ”I indulge, but not with crowds and not with just anyone. If you’re interested, call me and we’ll set something up. I’m particularly interested in the After Dark matches.”

Signature Move
Check Hook

One of Carmen's favorite punches to use, works best against aggressive opponents. Carmen leads them in, and when they come at her full blast, she throws a hook, pivots on her left foot and swings the right 180 degrees — the result is that the opponent goes past her, takes a hook right in the face, and smacks into anything that's right in front of them.
It might not look like much, but it can be very damaging — the key is timing. It's an easy move to do, but difficult to utilize in a fight, requiring expert skill. It's a counter punch, which would be bad enough for the opponent's head, but to add on, it always goes right to the blind spot. Carmen's used it a few times in the ring — it's gotten her a knockdown every time.
Dirt Nap

The Michinoku Driver - Carmen reached between the opponent’s legs, grabs the shoulder, lifts them, spins them upside down, then drives them into the canvas while she falls into a sit-out position. After the impact, she holds them down for the pinfall.
The Final Round
A spinning side slam — as the opponent runs towards her, Carmen pulls the enemy in close, ducks under their arm, wraps one arm around their chest and the other around their back, turns around to use their momentum again, then lifts up and falls forwards, driving them into the mat.
Dempsey Roll

Carmen moves in, weaves left and right, and executes powerful hooks as she moves, using the twist from every turn to build momentum and deliver her bodyweight with each shot.
Personal Information
Personality
While Carmen used to be a bit hotblooded, she’s mellowed over the years, growing into a quieter, more intense woman. She’s not humorless, and can even be warm and inviting if given the chance, but is generally only like this with people she’s grown comfortable with.
She’s generally calm, level-headed, serene and pristine — she’s a lady and she carries herself like one. While she’s not a super-serious person and isn’t beyond a little smack talk, once the fight starts she’s all business. She has a deep respect for the ring and what it stands for, and anyone that disrespects it is guaranteed to get on her bad side immediately.
After her recent divorce, she’s been in a bit of melancholy mood, and is looking for something to inject energy back into her life, though she’s frankly not what - or, perhaps, who - that is just yet.

History
Unlike her brother, Carmen was born with the wrong body parts to carry on the family’s legacy — or, at least that’s what her father seemed to believe as much, rebuffing the idea of taking her on as his pupil and instead wanting to focus on her cousins. After a year of begging, he finally began training her, and found her to bea dedicated, focused student. This focus served her well, and she would go on to become the most accomplished boxer in their family’s history. She thrived in the ring, and even made it to the world stage, eventually boxing in the Olympics and bringing home the silver medal for the United States. Her professional undefeated streak ended in a brutal split-decision loss.
Feeling she had done all she could do in the sport, Carmen decided to change things up and followed her brother into the Japanese wrestling scene, where she had a good degree of success. While she was never quite as successful as she was with boxing, she did find the sport to be a bit more enjoyable, and made some good long term friends along the way. She even connected with her old rival, the woman who defeated her in the split-decision, and after a brief, but intense rivalry, the two of them started up a relationship, which led to marriage. After a few years, Carmen retired from combat sports altogether and left with the intention of building her personal life and starting her own gym in Kyoto.
That was the idea, but reality had different plans. While Carmen was originally down with the prospect of adoption and starting a family, she grew skittish after she married and was confronted with the reality of it. While she never outright rebuffed her partner’s desires, she put things off, made excuses, buried herself in training at the gym, and it was a constant sore spot for them. This led to friction, which bled out into other aspects of their relationship. It wasn’t their only issue, but it was the first crack that led to the others, and after three years, things finally fell apart.
Feeling a bit aimless, Carmen decided to throw her hat back into the wrestling ring, feeling it would be a good outlet for the stress of the divorce, a way for her to work out some of her aggressions in relatively positive manner.
