Maria was born in Seattle, but that wouldn't be her home for long. Her childhood was chaotic; while her family was very wealthy, both her parents had jobs that required them to move from state to state. Though they certainly loved her, neither of them wanted to give up their position to settle down with their child. It was a baffling decision that to this day Maria still doesn't quite understand.
She grew sick of the constant travels and bouncing back and forth between parents. Once she reached 18 Maria contacted an old friend, deciding to move in with her. A small town in Oregon would be her home for many years to come. She worked as a barmaid in a nearby pub, serving drinks, chatting up the customers, even breaking up a few fights here and there, thanks to her larger stature.
Whenever possible, the bar's television would always be broadcasting the hottest LAW event, serving as Maria's primary source of entertainment during the slower shifts. What started as a small interest quickly became a complete infatuation, leading to her decision to pursue wrestling as a hobby.
Over the years Maria trained, and eventually would leave her job to pursue her new dream. She competed in many private tournaments and matches, winning many of them. Her passion would lead her into a LAW tryout session, landing her where she is today.
