Past + Personality
ChaCha Luana grew up with a few difficulties...The then-young Samoan-American woman had issues making friends, speaking up for herself, and being involved with class due to her anxiety issues. ChaCha was big for her age, so all the boys in class used to pick on her for that, and all the girls would avoid her because she was so big and weird like the guys. The young girl had trouble finding her footing in social circles throughout her middle school years...she always faked her smiles and enthusiasm, never feeling confident enough to tell people how she felt, always going along with what others wanted, even if it was to her detriment.
That was until she stumbled across this strange girl on a field trip to an amusement park in Los Angeles. This girl's name was Anya Young, and she was...SUPER WEIRD. Anya was playing around with some bugs at the amusement park while waiting in line next to ChaCha. A group of boys mocked her and ChaCha, trying to bully them out of the line so they could cut in front. ChaCha was going to move, but Anya stopped her, grabbing her by the hand and telling the boys to back off since they got in line first. ChaCha didn't know what to say. She stood back as Anya stood up to the boys, hurling insults at them. The strange girl's words got the whole crowd in line to snicker and laugh at her remarks. The bullies walked off, flustered and embarrassed, and ChaCha was left in stunned silence. The two got to talking, ChaCha feeling comfortable enough to speak her mind as Anya listened to everything she had to say. For the first time in her life, the Samoan girl felt like she was being seen and heard. The two middle schoolers learned a lot about one another. However, as the day drew on, ChaCha felt nervous. She realized that by the end of the day, she'd have to leave all this behind and return to her home, miles away from her first real friend. Her anxiety got so bad over this, thinking that she'd never see Anya again...but Anya-...who was the sporadic, impulsive, never-say-never type of person, grabbed a pen from nearby and scribbled her house phone number on ChaCha's arm, telling her that if ChaCha ever called her, she'd come running from LA to San Francisco at top speeds, bringing a smile to the Samoan girl's face...
Since that day, ChaCha found that her life had become more...exciting. Despite the two being so far apart, their friendship couldn't have been stronger. It blossomed from landline phone calls to video chats to seeing each other in person once Anya's family moved closer to San Francisco. The two learned a lot about each other, noting that they both had a passion for professional wrestling. Anya loved the theatrical elements and dramatic gimmicks. ChaCha was left in awe at how strong and confident the wrestlers were. Anya slowly became a heavy influence on ChaCha's life, as the Samoan girl would look to her Thai friend for advice, slowly coming into her own about how to act and decide things for herself. Because of her newfound friendship with the African-Thai girl, ChaCha began to take some risks and speak her mind more. She took chances on herself and succeeded as a student, stepping out of the shadows and into the light, finally beginning to carve out a place for herself amongst her peers. This journey of self-discovery culminated in a summer trip back to her family's original home in Samoa, where ChaCha got in touch with her heritage, learning about her family's roots and discovering herself as a person. She learned to love her background, growing into the proud, confident woman she is today, picking up some traditionalist hobbies and mindsets from her time spent on the gorgeous islands. When she returned for her senior year of high school, she was a different person. Bold, strong, confident...she had undergone something akin to a metamorphosis. ChaCha became a better version of herself. The scared little girl had finally found her voice, having her family and best friend to thank.
Now, with a new outlook on life, the positivity and spirit she faked before had become genuine, and her friends and family could tell...ChaCha graduated high school with Anya, and the two chased after their dreams of becoming professional wrestlers. It was an adjustment at first, one that ChaCha managed to overcome better than Anya. The massive Samoan woman picked up the skills at a fast pace, with many of her trainers taking notice of how well she used all her muscles and power in the ring. ChaCha's coordination and finesse were something to behold, and she became a model student for what a heavyweight wrestler should be. Her respectful mindset and passionate spirit led her to become a young prodigy at the age of nineteen. For the next two years, ChaCha took to wrestling with explosive success, working alongside her best friend to form a formidable duo. The two achieved immense notoriety through their skills and team dynamic. Whether on the mic or in the ring, the two brought a wave of life and excitement into every locker room they were a part of. Eventually, as the two worked their way up from the indies to bigger and better federations, their joint success and individual talent earned them each a contract in one of the biggest promotions on the planet...LAW!!!
Personality: ChaCha is compassionate and empathetic, having experienced the pain of isolation and bullying herself. This has made her incredibly supportive of others, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear. She values genuine connections and understands the power of kindness in transforming lives.
In the ring, she is much more focused. However, she still shows her kindness and genuine care for her opponents. However, sometimes, this winds up backfiring on her. Normally, she doesn't do anything humiliating to them unless provoked or in tandem with her partner, Anya.
Despite her physical prowess, ChaCha maintains a humble and respectful demeanor, earning her admiration not only from fans but also from colleagues in the industry. She values her roots and heritage, evident in her traditionalist hobbies and mindset acquired during her time in Samoa. This cultural connection adds depth to her character, showcasing her appreciation for diversity and the importance of embracing one's identity.

WRESTLING INFO
Strategy: ChaCha's style revolves around POWER. Coming from a Samoan background, the spirit of her culture flows through not just her veins but her muscles. The Samoan-American fighter has no shortage of determination and heart when she steps into the ring. She fights to win and has a strong sense of honor. Despite not having a dramatic, flashy, over-the-top theme to her character, she still manages to capture the crowd's attention with her style. However, when the bell rings, she is all business.
