Personality:
Olivia is a tall, proud, and confident tomboy. She enjoys finding new ways to have fun and above all else- she enjoys being as free as a bird. Such traits are a reason Mandy has a love of the ocean or any large open body of water, like Canada's great lakes. She has a bit of a sailor's mouth, being quick to swear often in almost any given situation- something she's been heavily encouraged to change when in the ring due to the risk of getting in trouble with censorship.
Outside of the ring, Mandy is a bit more mellow in her behavior. Just a tiny bit. She's someone who enjoys her quiet time but isn't afraid of having some fun, especially with her friends. Speaking of, Mandy seems to be taking more after her cousin Oscar now- taking great pride in her friends and caring about their well-being. Anyone who would dare to hurt those close to her would be careful not to provoke Olivia unless you want to walk the plank!
History:
Olivia Orelash is the daughter of a private detective that worked out of Toronto, Canada named Maxwell Orelash- or just Max for short. She was born an only child and grew up without a mother due to her passing on during childbirth while having Olivia. For most of her life, Olivia's father spoiled her rotten with the intent of giving the young lady the best life physically possible, viewing Olivia as the last wonderful thing his beloved wife gifted to him before her death. Things took a turn when Olivia turned ten. Her cousin, Oscar, had been taken in by her father due to the young lad's own parents being deemed unfit to care for him- the Dad being thrown into prison and the Mom into a mental hospital. Mandy was no longer the only child in the house. As the two grew up together, they more often than not butted heads over typical things kids would fight over ranging from sharing things, who got a turn to play on the Wii, and of course- Olivia teasing Oscar about his 'nerd stuff'. Secretly though, she enjoyed some of the stuff he liked- rather, she loved the more adventurous stories about pirates on the high seas that did what they wanted when they wanted to. They didn't care about rules or bedtimes- just about life!
Those books got Olivia steered the young lady towards the water for a life on the great lakes and the ocean when she graduated, but struggled to find any real freedom on her troubles with keeping a stable job due to her... very free spirit getting her in trouble time and time again, usually by getting into fistfights or doing something purely on impulse. With her options dwindling, Olivia turned to a life of splooging and endless parties to distract herself from the fear that she might be good for nothing, destined to never live the life she dreamed of. When Oscar told Olivia and her father about wanting to be a wrestler, the seed of jealousy started to sprout in her and grew as Oscar trained and fought before fully blooming after learning he'd been accepted to a training program in Japan with the LAW company. This made Olivia absolutely PISSED. It didn't feel fair to her. To her, Oscar was a nerd who buried himself in nerd crap and fought against hot girls while she busted her ass to try and follow her dream- harder than he ever did in her eyes.
Hearing of Oscar's success in LAW and the training program didn't help either. Deciding enough was enough, Olivia slipped away from her home in the night and used her money to buy some standard wrestling gear and a ticket to Japan before applying for a spot in LAW as a wrestler and dying her hair to make sure Oscar didn't recognize her. Despite the booker heavily insisting that Olivia should consider enrolling in the young lioness program, she was adamant about entering the pros. After all, she didn't think wrestling had any REAL danger to it. It was all just a big show as far as she cared. She was big, she was strong, and she could throw a punch while looking hot. That's all that was needed to win big in this business... right?
...right?
... Well she couldn't have been more wrong.
Olivia or "Mandy" as she called herself wound up losing her first match in a humiliating fashion due to her not understanding the rules- forcing her to start learning the trade properly. She got some wins here and there, but Olivia only really cared about hurting Oscar and felt like she'd give anything for it. Things took an even worse turn when one of the people she fought and even hospitalized, Rylie Marshall, utterly beat her in a rematch and left Olivia hospitalized- with only her thoughts to keep her company. There, Olivia reflected back on her choices and opted to take a break from wrestling in LAW. During this time, Olivia watched Oscar himself lose a match and be hospitalized. It was something she had always wanted, but seeing it actually happen... she felt only a deep emptiness and immense guilt for wanting such a thing. Olivia would withdraw further by practically barricading herself in her apartment where she wouldn't emerge from her home for months- only breaking it to get a change of scenery by visiting the gym.
Visiting the gym was perhaps the best thing Mandy could've done as she wound up making her first friend ever- a bubbly young lady named Karin Shin. Karin went out of her way to help and listen to Mandy for no other reason than seeing a poor soul having a rough go in life and this random act of kindness sparked something in Olivia. After getting treated out to a club and blowing off some steam, Karin helped Olivia figure herself out and what she wants to do next. Right now- that involves getting back into the ring and earning some cash! Not just for grocery money or stuff like that- but for a new COSTUME! As of right now, Mandy Cannons is dead... Olivia Orelash has emerged and she's ready to set a more righteous course under the LAW flag!
Fun facts:
- Olivia once worked as a water taxi driver in Toronto but lost the job when she rammed another taxi into a red buoy and caused it to sink. In her defense, the other driver was catcalling her about her boobs and the boat was empty anyways.
- Her old heelish stage name was a pun for "Man the cannons". A song she adopted into her new entrance theme.
- She's always wanted a pet platypus
- Along with her love of pirate stories, Manty secretly has a love for LARP. Her dream LARP is a pirate-themed one that is held in Germany where you get to sail the baltic sea on REAL pirate ships.
