Victory by submission, pinfall, or knockout
When the lights went down on the ring, no one knew what they could expect next. The next name on the card was one Viper Hoshiwara - a name that might ring a few bells for those who followed smaller deathmatch promotions, but certainly not to the majority of the audience. But that was about to change.
"Coming first to the ring, from Akishima, Japan! At 5'8 and 145 lbs., VIPER HOSHIWARA!"
Despite the aggressive music blaring through the speakers as a red light fell on the entrance ramp, drowning out all color around it, the young woman who emerged from backstage seemed calm and nonchalant, making her way to the sing at a casual sauntering pace. She stopped at the edge of the ramp, however, and looked out with a wicked glare, narrowing her eyes as she drew a switchblade out from her boot and held it up to her face to run her tongue slowly along its edge. The crowd fell silent at such a display, as though the girl radiated a threatening presence that all could feel. She was sure to prove herself a fearsome wrestler indeed, there was no question about that.
After her little display, Viper placed the knife back in its place, rolling her shoulders and her neck to warm herself up. She then looked back towards the ring with a calm and steady stare, only to storm forward and slip in between the ropes, where she casually rested her arms back on the ropes and waited for her opponent to arrive. All the while, though, it would appear as though she could hardly care less.
