Kathleen Hendricks vs. Alaina Sandra-Hanes

Unread post by TickTock »

Standard Match
Rules: 10 Second Count-Out, DQ, Rope Break
Victory Conditons: Pinfall, Submission, K.O.
Continued from here.

After the heinous assault on Alaina, which was broadcast to fans in attendance, the Queen's music hit, and boos made their way from the crowd.

A few seconds passed before Kathleen walked out from behind the curtain and stood at the top of the ramp. While the Amazon was ravaged and beaten down, the Queen herself looked perfectly fine. Her makeup still on and pristine, her dark brown hair shining and straight, black painted lips without a smudge, and her attire on tight. Her oak-colored eyes glared out into the open crowd who booed and thumbs downed her, but her expression didn't change. It was merely one of pure superiority and hatred, one that she addressed everyone with, and one that she was sure that she would maintain by the end of the match, with the unconscious Amazon beneath her foot.

Walking down the ramp, she didn't even bother to spare a glance towards the fans talking trash or trying to catch her attention, her saunter one of a Queen. Eventually reaching the steps and taking each one leisurely, before getting up to the apron and stepping her way into the ring and soaking in the disdain of the crowd in the center.

Now, only time would tell if Alaina could make it out, as Kathleen's music ceased and her eyes went out towards the ramp, watching for her opponent.

Alaina's music played and there was a delay as the hobbled amazon came out, her left hand rubbing her right shoulder as she walked to the ring on limp legs. She was clearly hurting and far from 100% coming in to this, but she was still coming down to face the cowardly woman who couldn't face her clean or so it seemed.

Alaina walked over to the ring steps, using those to climb up onto the apron before climbing between the ropes. She held her arms out but a grimace of pain was etched on her face as her right shoulder was clearly a nasty target of the earlier attack. She looked over at Kathleen and glared at her. "I don't need to be at 100% to take you down. I am going to show everyone that hiding behind cowardice will only lead to failure. I will take you down and make you wish you never set foot in the ring with me." Alaina said trying to sound as confident as she could despite her body being battered mere moments ago.

Kathleen watched as Alaina did indeed make her way out onto the stage and walking down to the ring, but it hasn't a graceful entrance. It was clear she was hurting, practically hobbling her way into the ring, and the Queen looked like a lion watching a gazelle limp. She didn't move from her position, hands cupping her wrists, but her eyes glimmered with satisfaction and hunger.

And as Alaina talked to her, saying what she was going to do with her, a snort escaped from Kathleen's nostrils, not quite taking the heavyweight's threats seriously when she seemed so hurt. The bell rung soon afterwards, almost reluctantly rung by the referee, and the Queen moved in slowly, hands up, seemingly wanting to initiate a grapple with the Amazon. But if she fell for the bait, Kathleen would snatch that injured arm right away and spin it over the top of her head and twisting it, wasting no time in going after her injury.

Alaina moved in for the grapple but was caught by surprise by the speedy middleweight as she twisted the arm of the amazon around and her hurt right shoulder surged with pain! Alaina grit her teeth and it was clear she was hurting but she also had a free left arm and a foe within striking distance. If Kathleen thought the sneak attack had rendered Alaina defenseless she was sorely mistaken.

Alaina swung that left elbow around looking to absolutely smash the skull of Kathleen in an effort to free herself as she was still a force in the ring even if one arm seemed to be a clear weak point for her foe to go after.

Kathleen spun and twisted that arm tight, and figured she'd have a bit more time to amplify the hold, and even get a strike in before getting a safe distance back, or even go further if Alaina was proven to be weakened.

She got neither.

"GUH!" Kathleen hissed as she ate that hard elbow to her jaw, forcing her to let go of Alaina's arm and sending her stumbling towards the ropes. But once there, she'd push her body underneath the top rope and held her hands up, as though to signal a 'break', and have the referee keep the Amazon back, while she gripped her jaw and swiveled it. It was a strong blow, and if Alaina was allowed to capitalize on it, things could go sour for her, and the middleweight needed a few moments to collect herself and come up with a new plan.

And if she was allowed her break, the Queen would slowly pull her body back into the ring, and lift her hands up as though to try and initiate another grapple. And this time, Kathleen attempted to go low, with a toe kick aimed right for the stomach once she was close enough.

Alaina smiled as Kathleen was finally ready to move in, but that smile quickly disappeared as a toe-kick did strike unexpectedly! "Ugh!" Alaina groaned as she stumbled back doubled over as she hobbled a few steps trying to recover herself from the shock of the surprise blow that hit quite hard! The amazon was open, and she was in a bad spot early on as her shoulder was already putting her in a hole and now Kathleen had a chance to capitalize on an opening....

Kathleen moved in once Alaina was hurt, attempting to lock an arm around the head of the heavyweight with her bent over and lock her in a tight headlock. And from there, she'd lift her free elbow up and begin to bash it down over the Amazon, striking her shoulder first, and then her neck. And if allowed, she'd repeat the strikes, over and over again. The Queen wasn't strong enough to lift the heavyweight, and thus she had to rely on the power in her strikes to try and bring down Alaina and give her the advantage she needed.

Alaina was grabbed and held by Kathleen taking hit after hit! "Oomph! Ngh! Ugh!" Alaina grunted and groaned as her ability to smash Kathleen in the abdomen had been compromised. Alaina slumped to her knees and reached an arm around Kathleen to grab her around the waist. Alaina struggled back up to her feet as the strikes came and grunted as she tried to turn this situation into one favorable for herself. Alaina wanted to keep hold of Kathleen and lift her up turning this into a northern lights suplex to send her down hard to the canvas on her back! Alaina would keep her back arched and go for a pin right away knowing that it wouldn't work but it would force Kathleen to buck the heavyweight off of herself!

Kathleen was laying down the strikes onto Alaina, targeting her injured shoulder, as well as her neck in an attempt to crumple her and bring her down. And for a few moments, it seemed as though that was working, with the Amazon slumping down to her knees. But, seemingly as quick as she fell, she got right back up, and the Queen didn't realize what was happening until it was too late. "AGH!" Kathleen called out as she was suddenly lifted from the ground, flipped and slammed down onto her back in the Northern Lights Suplex.

1- The referee could barely count before the middleweight shouldered her way out of the pin, rolling her way underneath the ropes and to the outside of the ring, clutching her back some. Even hurt, Alaina was a tough cookie, and despite bringing out some of her best strikes, the Amazon didn't topple. But Kathleen wasn't deterred, though she did let the referee begin to count her out, taking her time in recovering.

Alaina was fighting with maybe one and a half arms due to her right shoulder being hurt but the last thing she wanted to do was give Katheen time to recover. She was also impressed at the speed of the kickout.... she put all she had into a surprise northern lights suplex knowing it was quite impactful.

As much as she didn't want Alaina was going to give chase. She had to try to build some momentum if she didn't want to let things get out of hand early against Kathleen. Alaina slid underneath the ring ropes a distance from Kathleen and gave chase looking to run up. While Alaina looked to be telegraphing a clothesline with her left arm she would leap up and aim a dropkick at the chest of Kathleen instead to try to catch her off guard!
