Autograph Signing Gone Wrong

Unread post by winner3 »

With the success of LAW's premiere tag team becoming the inaugural tag champs, each of the SWAT Cats was finding themselves blowing up in their own way. Katherine was getting even more endorsements. Aurora was being given sponsorships and the chance to talk at public functions, libraries, graduations, and so forth. All of them were being offered more interviews, new lines of merchandise, and so on. Tracy, however, loved to please the crowd. She loved participating in events that let her engage with fans directly. She had just arrived at a community center near LAW for her third autograph signing this week!

Tracy Canon

"Phew! Time to get in there and do my thang!" Tracy would say with a pep in her step as she stepped out of her changing room in her wrestling attire and shuffled and danced her way to her table. Tracy would sit in her chair and prop her championship belt up at the table. There were stacks of photos to her right, most of them were career highlights: her jumping off a ladder in her ladder match against Tina for the middleweight championship, her posing with Katherine and Aurora upon winning the tag team championships, and so on. But as Tracy looked upon these memories with a glint in her eyes, she could hear from commotion from the crowd of fans that were previously lined up. It seemed that they had broken formation and crowded the community center for some reason. One fan, in particular, was making a ruckus.

"Excuse me! You! Y'all! Everybody! Please form a neat and orderly line in front! I promise there's enough Circus Cat to go around for everyone! If everyone cooperates, I'll even do facepaint for the kids! And I haven't gotten to do that since my Circus days!" Tracy would say with a big smile. The vast majority of folks confirmed and followed her instructions and formed a line starting at the table. There were so many people there for her autograph that day, that the line went straight out the door after it was formed!

The crowd would practically be shaking the building just for this autograph sighing. Sure with how much buzz the Swatcats were getting and how Tracy adored the attention, it was likely this wouldn't be the only autograph signing. Hell, it wouldn't be surprising if she got at least three before the Swatcats got their interview post title win. Of course, once Tracy had calmed them the fans would line up, and overall it went well, with around half the crowd getting whatever photos or autographs with the circus cat they may have wanted. Eventually, this would lead to a young girl, outfitted in a Swatcats tag champions t-shirt, and a circus cat hoodie, with the hood having a similar one to Tracy's mask. They were very excited to get a chance to meet Tracy.

"H-Hi Tracy. I'd um, like one of the autographs please." The girl would say, a bit nervous. As Tracy was in the middle of sighing the photo she spoke up again. "Um...uh also sorry about being kinda loud earlier I was just nervous someone was gonna take my spot." She admitted, feeling a bit bad, but being comforted by whatever Tracy had to say, however just before Tracy could hand the superfan her photo some commotion started up in the line.

"Hey, no cutting!"

"Where you going!"

This would go all the way to the front until it was revealed who the line cutter was. A girl outfitted in a leopard print shirt, leather jacket, black jeans, and wrestling boots. A girl who had some business with Tracy.

and her name was Camie Young

The superfan would be caught a bit off guard, not sure how she should react to Camie's rather sudden entrance. The self-righteous heel putting a hand on her shoulder, snickering a bit at her outfit choice. "Sweetie, gimme one sec, I need to speak with this one, then you can get your autograph." She would grip the girl's shoulder tightly, making the younger girl walk off to the side as Camie would nod, glancing back at Tracy. She would simply ignore any questions about who she was, taking off a picture of the pile looking at it.

"Mhm, the ladder match vs. Tina huh? Cool match. You lost it but still, you looked cool losing and that's what matters right? Losing in style." Camie would smirk, making a very obvious reference to their short flame war on Twitter. Camie would crumple up the paper and toss it away.

"So miss kitty, how does it feel to be champion?" Camie would ask, leaning on the table. "Must have been a nice moment, and the pose was nice for the photographers too because of course if you three didn't do that one, they'd have to settle on you bending Swan's leg and arm AFTER the match was over. Y'know Kat, let Ducky go right away, but you, oh no no no. You gotta bully the competitor who wasn't even at 100% in the match seeing as, oh yeah, it was the second time she was in a match that night, just increasing the likeliness of her getting injured. Now that is someone who deserves to be apart of the inaugural tag champion." Camie would smile as she insulted the cat more, tapping the front of the girl's belt.

"I mean come on Tracy, that's the kinda thing I would do after a match, and trust me, you don't wanna be like me if you're trying to manipulate-Oh sorry, I mean "appeal" to your fans." Camie would smile smugly, basically insulting the cat right in front of her fans, wanting to see what kind of reaction she would get.

Having corralled the crowd into a single file line and promised them that everyone would get their moment with her, Tracy was feeling pretty good! She sat at her table and signed posters, trinkets, and other SWAT Cats and Circus Cat merchandise. She took pictures with fans, which were printed on demand and signed as well. Her smile didn't fade for a single moment amidst the fans. When the little superfan spoke up to try and get her attention, the redheaded luchadora was eager to make sure this girl's fan experience would be super! Tracy would press her palms against her table and flip over it, landing right in front of the young lass! Tracy would kneel down to console the girl. She'd place a hand on her shoulder. And wipe away any tears the girl had.

"Hey hey hey hey! It's okay! You've got a lot of heart. You just wanted to get your turn. Next time, try to use this." Tracy would say, playfully tapping the girl's noggin. "Before you fly off the handle. Trust me, it'll help a lot. You can do that for me, right?" Tracy would say with a firm nod. As the girl composed herself and nodded, Tracy would beckon an assistant to give her a spare mask. And once she had it, she gave it to this fan, sending the smaller gal over the moon with joy! And all the while, Canon hadn't been paying attention to the ruckus that another "fan" had been causing.

When Camie stopped at the table and started recounting the memories and matches that Tracy had amassed in her time at LAW, Tracy tensed her fist. She rose up and stepped towards the signing table. The Circus Cat picked up the crinkled poster of the ladder match she had against Tina. She laid it out on the table next to Camie, getting nose to nose with the Sinister Submission Specialist.

"Well if it isn't my most loyal hater. I've already forgotten your name, you know. Anyone that's dressing like that, trying to convince everyone how tough she is by how hard she dresses or how tough she talks." Tracy would eye Camie up and down before clicking her tongue. Her expression changed to a dismissive one.

"If you want to paint a picture to try and make these people see me as the bad guy, you're going about it all wrong. See, I have classic matches, like my match against Tina. I have career-defining moments, like my inaugural championship win. People know me and love me for what I do in and out of the ring, even if I fly off the handle here and there." The fans bought into Tracy's words. Some soft chanting for the Circus Cat would start up as she capped her speech off.

"And like I said, I don't even care to remember you. So unless you wanna stop beating around the bush and say what you really came here to say, why don't I treat you like the less of a wrestler and more of a fan since you were so bent on coming all this way." Tracy would say as she walked around the table with a bounce in her step and her fingers intertwined behind her back. She'd sit in her chair and quickly sign the poster that Young had crumpled earlier in hilariously huge writing.

To my biggest hater. Hope you get out of the undercard someday.

- Signed, Main-Event Star and Inaugural Champion, Tracy "Circus Cat" Canon
😉

If left uninterrupted, Tracy would write this out before handing it Camie, fully expecting Young to be on her way afterward.

Camie would keep her sly smile on her face, glaring at the circus cat as she tried to dismiss the girl as someone simply attempting to get the attention of somebody in higher places. However, upon Tracy suggesting she stop avoiding what she was there, she would lose her smirk, clicking her tongue looking at the comical "autograph".

"...Alright, I was always better at actions rather than words. So to put it simply-" The moment Tracy attempted to move her hand away from the piece of paper, Camie would suddenly grab her wrist, yanking her forward onto the table! She would then grab the girl's mask, pulling it sideways enough to blind Tracy for a moment, before getting sadistic with her sudden attack as fans would let out gasps and screams.

Camie would lean on the girl's wrist, holding her arm down on the table, grabbing her hand as she grabbed a piece of paper, holding Tracy's finger, a sadistic smile creeping back onto her face, as she would grab the edge of the paper, placing it on the tip of her index fingers, before slashing it across the skin, giving the circus cat a nasty papercut! If this wasn't bad enough she would follow it up by grabbing her fingers, bending them back as she tortured the mouthy SwatCat.

Tracy had done a convincing job of waving this woman off. The fans half expected Camie Young to go about her business and come back when the two were on more even ground. Maybe call Tracy out to the ring during LAW's next airing. But that wasn't good enough for the Sinister Submission Specialist! Some fans caught on when Young tilted her head and clicked her tongue. The change in expression from a mischievous smirk to a more sinister look of apathy was a dead giveaway: Camie was pissed.

"Seriously, chick?!" Tracy would cry out as her arm was seized. Genuinely having no idea who Camie was or what she was out to paint Tracy in a bad light, Tracy had assumed the girl would have probably just went about her business. Tracy assumed wrong. Camie had put the girl in a wristlock on the autograph table. Both women were now on the table. Tracy struggled to try and break free!

"KYAAAAAA" Tracy cried sharply as the pain of being subjected to a vicious and sickening papercut! Camie wasted no time and motions whatsoever! While Tracy writhed and kicked in pain, she grabbed hold of those fingers and bent them back, taking The Circus Cat's situation from bad to worse!

The luchadora would kick off the table and roll backward, attempting to bring both her and Camie onto their feet! If she managed to transition her way off the table, Tracy would attempt to slide her bleeding hand out of Camie's grip and fire back by jumping into the air and attempting to hit a Standing Dropkick to kick Camie back into and hopefully onto the autograph table! If Tracy managed to counter, the security guards attending would hesitate to get involved as it looked like a noteworthy LAW interaction between wrestlers would occur right before a live crowd or Circus Cat fans! The fans would roar work overwhelming support for Tracy! They'd chant in the hopes of seeing their fan-favorite send the conniving submissionista packing!

"You freakin' coward!" Tracy would exclaim as she attempted her Dropkick!

The vicious assault would get the brawl going, Camie assaulting the poor cat's finger with some creatively sickening offense, the girl's audible scream being a wonderful payoff for the sadistic girl. Though this didn't last very long, with Tracy breaking free, pulling her hand away, and dropkicking Camie, causing her to stumble a few feet back.

"Coward, I ain't the one who tried to just wave off a challenge. Now come on champ, get off your ass and get your hands up, if you even know how to." She taunted, motioning for Tracy to bring it

Once the two were back to fighting, Camie would attempt to grab the girl's neck in a Muay Thai clinch, slamming her knees into the cat's stomach, hoping to damage the cat, keeping this up before attempting to shove her back, looking to slam her in the side of the face with an elbow smash!

Tracy had hoped to dropkick Camie with enough forced to knock her onto or even over the table! But Young had come to fight. And this brawl was going down one way or another. Camie, having steeled herself and come prepared for the skirmish, held her ground and stayed on her feet! Tracy had landed and pushed herself up to her knees just in time to see Camie catch herself. She genuinely had only barely known of this newfound rival before this very moment. But it looked like this hitwoman was out to make sure that the two of them would get all too familiar with each other before long! Tracy grit her teeth and furrowed her brow when she saw Camie gesture to her tauntingly. She'd begin to push herself up and get back into the fray! By the time the redheaded luchadora was on her feet, Camie was already coming for her again!

"You jumped me, you shady piece a-!" Tracy yelled at Camie as their physical and verbal fight continued to escalate. But Camie got ahold of her before she could finish! The blonde applied a tight clinch, something akin to a Front Facelock! Tracy found her head and neck in a vice! The knees that followed hit deep! The crowd reacted as the thud of Camie's kneecap hitting Tracy's abs filled the little recreational hall that they were in! Tracy let out several groans of pain!

"Uuuf! Agh! Uuungh!" Tracy would bellow out as each of Camie's knee strikes connected! Tracy would soon be on wobbly feet, but cheers for the Circus Cat spurred her on! When Camie reached for her shoulders and torso to push her back, Tracy would use her flexibility and craftiness to slip out of the clinch and zip behind Camie! Tracy would was more passion and impulse than brains and she knew that. But her wrestling experience and KAT'S tutelage taught her well. That brief struggle in Camie's clinch and in her armbar was all she needed to experience to understand that Young would take her down easily if she kept grappling with her! Tracy would attempt to catch Camie as she turned around by stepping forward with a huge Superkick aimed at the blonde's pretty, pompous face!

If it connected, Tracy would try to follow up! She'd reach for Camie's arm and pull the girl towards her as if trying to Irish Whip Camie into a Short Arm Lariat! But rather than go for a Lariat, Tracy would duck and attempt to throw Camie up and over with a Back Bodydrop right onto the wooden autograph signing table!

"Bon Voyage, Camie! And don't come back!" Canon would boast as she attempted the throw! If she managed to throw Camie, she would stand with her fists against her hips and a wide smile on her face! Tracy would play to the crowd and the Circus Cat chants would follow suit!

The fan from earlier would have been particularly stoked! The young girl would approach Tracy and hug her from the side. Tracy would hug back to celebrate the moment!

Re: Autograph Signing Gone Wrong

The brawl between the pair was underway, and seemingly Camie got the upper hand rather quickly. This was something that showed one of Camie's strength compared to Tracy, as unlike Tracy, Camie was extremely good with technical wrestling. Sure it's not flashy or as eye catching as Tracy's style, but it was effective, which was shown very quickly as her knees squished the girl's stomach. However Tracy would slip away as she attempt to smash her in the jaw with a forearm, spinning around only to get smacked with a superkick to the side of her head.

Camie would stumble a bit, grabbed by Tracy before then being launched off her shoulder, smashing through the table, tons of paper flying everywhere. Tracy and the crowd seemingly thought this was the end off the brawl, with cheering and hugs being given. It would be a perfect ending to the moment and possibly even giving Tracy some good publicity.

Sadly, Camie wasn't finished. Not by a long shot.

She took a moment to recover from the drop, before then forcing herself up, shoving the paper out of the way. The fan was a bit over excited and noticed Camie's recovering, looking to taunt her a bit, approaching her assuming that Tracy's one backdrop had finished her off, leaving the safety of circus cat being at her side. "Yeah that's right. You stupid jobber, you're nothing like Tracy in skill you idio-?"

Camie would suddenly boost up, grabbing the girl by her shirt "Skill?! You call that fucking skill you runt!" The crowd would send out nervous screams, liekly alerting Tracy of her fans danger. The girl would go wide eyed, scared of what the heel would do to her. She would block her face saying "Please don't hurt me." Camie snickering and whispering something devious, making the fan become only more horrified

"Who said I was gonna hurt you, cat bait?" She winked, reveling her intentions. She wasn't gonna hurt the fan, she knew better then to send LAW into some kind of lawsuit over proving some point. No, what she wanted was Tracy to play hero, running to save her from being assulted. And if this happened, Camie would side step, letting go off the fan the moment Tracy tried to stop her, instead looking to trip her enough so she could slide behind her, locking her arm's around her neck and locking in a sleeper hold!

In Tracy's mind, Camie Young was upstaged and cast out! After all, how many women were eager and willing to scrap right after being put through a table? Young had taken the fight to her, but it was The Circus Cat that was standing tall in the end! The crowd was chanting Tracy's name! Her newest fan got to see her favorite LAW Superstar in action! It was all in a day's work for Tracy Canon as she hugged the girl with one arm while making a peace sign gesture with her free hand and posed for the cameras! All's well that ended well! If only it really ended there....

Unlike countless other LAW competitors that had the gall to step up to a top name like Tracy, Camie was vindictive, focused. Camie had the skills to back up her brazen decision to call out the luchadora! She rose from the table wreckage and debris and loose autograph papers and posters like a woman possessed! It hadn't even occurred to Tracy to turn around to see what became of Young. Surely this random, edgy girl couldn't be THAT tough! But she was...

The moment the girl decided to leave Tracy's side, a terrified shriek echoed out! The crowd began to descend into chaos as everyone tired to figure out the source of the cries! Tracy turned around.

"Y-you! You wanna go again? I put you through a table! You should be done!" Tracy cried out to Camie, gesturing in protest. As soon as she noticed the girl, Tracy's stance changed from a confrontational one of concern. With a worried look in her eyes, Canon inched forward.

"Don't hurt her, you jerk! How dare you bring a fan into this! We wrestle to inspire the fans! Not hurt them! If you harm even a single hair on her head, I'll-" Tracy inched closer and closer. When she got close enough, she'd run in to pull the younger girl from Camie's grasp! From just their brief exchange earlier, Tracy knew that she didn't want to trade blows with this woman. But if it meant guaranteeing an innocent woman's safety, Tracy was selfless enough to step into Camie's range unguarded. She just had to overcome Young's technical style with her own athletic ability again!

But the moment Tracy lunged forward, her eyes widened as she saw Camie shove the girl aside! Tracy gasped as she realized that Camie was looking for her to play hero!

"You! Baited?! Ach!" Tracy would gasp and flail as she suddenly found herself tied up in Camie's sleeper hold! Everything about it was executed flawlessly. Tracy didn't bring her arms up in time to block the hold. She had tried, but she wasn't fast enough when she was concentrating on saving her fan! Camie was a good few inches taller than her! Young had perfect leverage to cinch the hold in deep. Tracy would grip the bicep that was denying her air and blood circulation! The luchadora's face had already begun to redden slightly!

"C-coward!" Tracy would mouth in a low tone. She'd use her free arm to try and elbow Camie's side! But she could only must one decent elbow strike, then a weak one, followed by another weak one! The crowd reacted with collective looks and gasps of despair! People booed, but no one dared intervene.

Camie had more common sense to know something a lot of other wrestlers didn't, if you wanna talk the talk, you gotta walk the walk. And in this case, Camie was running. She tricked Tracy easily, locking in the sleeper before Tracy realized what was going on, Her arms locking around the girl's neck and locking into place. Tracy's attempts to break out both with elbow strikes and breaking the hold did little to assist her.

Camie would snicker and whisper to the girl "Come on Tracy, the crowds watching, don't wanna disappoint them do you?" Camie snickered "Who am I kidding, you always disappoint your fans." She taunted the girl, knowing full well by now that Tracy was a goner, she had dived in to save her fan only to fall in the metaphorical jaws of Camie's submission and it had swallowed her in one bite!

With her slight height advantage, Camie would lift Tracy off the ground slightly, grunting as she walked back over to the seats, smirking a bit as she checked to see if Tracy was almost out, fans cheering for the cat to escape, but it was no use, as it likely was falling on deaf ears, the submission specialist living up to her name, as she refused to lighten up until Tracy was knocked out entirely!
