Just moments ago, The SWAT Cats made their very first PPV appearance as inaugural tag team champions. And as champions, they suffered a beatdown worse than any inaugural champion before them on at a pay-per-view event! Mara and Toni Ashford, together with their mother, the famed Dana Ashford, staged a coordinated and premeditated assault! The aftermath of which left The SWAT Cats in shambles. Aurora and Tracy picked themselves up after being picked apart by the hands of Mara and Toni in the ring. Kat, however, got the worst of it. After putting up a fight against Dana on the outside of the ring, The Matriarch's daughters collapsed on her. The events that followed saw Dana prop The Super Kitty up on the announce table, only to drive Katherine straight through the fixture with her Sword of Damocles finishing maneuver! Being driven through the table with Dana's weight on top of her left Kat suffering in the wreckage. The doctors were still tending to her even now, despite the fact that the match was about to begin!

Aurora Estrella and Tracy Canon took their place on the apron of the ring, in their team's corner. Aurora held her neck with her hand. Tracy held the small of her back. Both showed signs of wear and tear after getting jumped by Mara and Toni. Katherine was still in her back ringside, writhing in the debris, and holding her shoulder in pain. Despite working from a distinct disadvantage, The SWAT Cats had decided together in a team huddle that they would not back down. That proving themselves as the tag team champions and fighting the dangerous, conniving team that was the Ashford Sisters and their famed mother, was worth putting the SWAT Cat's titles and careers on the line!

"Introducing first, the challengers! At a combined weight of 452 pounds! They are the current and first number one contenders, and the first to answer the SWAT Cats Open Challenge! The team of Mara, Toni, and Dana Aaaaasssshhhhhfoooorrrrrrd!" The announcer introduced the challengers, who were no doubt proud of themselves for their atrocities against The Tag Team Champions. And as the boos rained down left, right, and center from the audience, the cocky, satisfied expressions on their faces, would no doubt be worn more and more proudly. They could be just moments away from becoming The New LAW World Tag Team Champions!

"Amnnnnd in this corner! At a combined weight of 437 pounds! They are the inaugural and current LAW World Tag Team Champions! The team of The Galaxy Cat, Aurora Estrelllllla! The Circus Cat, Trrrrracy Caaaaanon! And The Suuuuuuper Kitty, Katherine! Haaaarrrrrrrrt!"


It did not take long for the bell to ring. And with the SWAT Cats down a member and Kat out of commission at ringside, things looked quite grim.

The Ashford Family had made quite an impression after catching the inaugural tag-team champions, which was capped off with Dana bringing Katherine's body down onto the announcer's table. Despite the injury that Katherine seemed to suffer, the champions still decided to go with the three-on-three tag-team match between their team and the Ashford Family. Leaving behind Katherine at the wreckage of the ruined table, the mother-daughters trio seemed to be ready to start the match.

Dana gave her daughters a nod, wordlessly encouraging them. The faces of Toni and Mara brightened before they returned the nod. The three of them would climb up the apron before Mara slipped through the ropes, looking to be the first one to go. She had her usual easygoing smile on her face despite them having committed such a heinous act earlier.

Mara Ashford

Getting into position, Mara looked at the opposite team, wanting to see who would go first from the other team. For the time being, she wouldn't have to worry about Katherine, considering that she had been neutralized by her mother earlier. Even if she somehow managed to pull herself up to fight, the injury that she had gotten from Dana's Sword of Damocles should be able to put a large handicap on her. So, Mara thought that she would be facing either Aurora or Tracy first.

Across the ring from the two able-bodied SWAT Cats, Mara, Toni, and Dana were all in sync. And that came as no surprise. With just simple gestures, nods, even just looks, Dana commanded her daughters to and lead them towards decimating the team before the competition even started. The SWAT Cats could have chosen to forego the contest entirely. But as the inaugural tag champs in their first PPV appearance, they had much to prove. And this famed LAW trio was going to lay it all on the line to protect and validate their integrity and their worthiness of being the champions and the faces of the LAW tag division!

Aurora and Tracy exchanged words in their corner. Aurora held her chest. She could still feel a mild ache from when Mara mounted her and laid into her with a barrage of forearms before the match.

"Looks like they're starting with Mara, first. I can handle her. I think I've grasped the upper limits of her strength." Estrella strategized aloud.

"I'm going." Tracy interjected.

"Wait, don't you wanna keep an eye on Toni and Dana?"

"You remember what Kat said, right? We need to buy time. And between the three of us, I am amazing at making a scene. Besides, you could use a breather, right? I've thought this through. This is what's best for the team."

Aurora hesitated, but she smiled in approval. Tracy leaped over the ropes to start things off for the champs!

The bell had already rung. The Circus Cat turned her torso left and right to stretch. She'd hop in place for a second or two and size Mara up. Tracy kept her motions ambiguous. She knew she wasn't getting a read on the seemingly aloof girl. She hoped to perplex Mara the same way Mara's front as a ditz perplexed others. On the second or third hop, Tracy would dash forward as her feet his the canvas! Showing off her notable and impressive speed and agility from her training as an acrobat, The Circus Cat would run in low and dive, feet-first! Tracy aimed to slide between Mara's legs and kip up such that she could pop up to her feet! If all went well, Tracy would be standing between Mara and The Ashford's corner! She would immediately follow this up with a wide, open hand palm across Dana's face, attacking The Matriarch while she was on the apron for a spot of revenge!

A serious, deadpan expression would form on Tracy's face if she connected. No doubt that the crowd would react with a collective gasp. The echo from the slap would elicit a pause all around the arena if it connected! Even the referee would flinch!

"That's for what you did to Kat." Canon would say after swatting the side of Dana's face like a paintbrush. Tracy would turn around and attempt to duck under whatever blow or offense Mara had cooked up. It was foolhardy to try and weave her way in and out of The Ashford's corner like this, but if any woman had the moxie to attempt it and the speed to get in and out, it was The Circus Cat, Tracy Canon! Regardless of whether or not Tracy could get past Mara, her plan to buy time for both her partners was coming at her expense, one way or another. And Tracy was more than happy to put her body on the line for the sake of her team!

It seemed that the first one to go from the other team would be Tracy. Mara got herself ready for their clash, and now that the match had begun, she would prepare herself for whatever the masked wrestler would try to do.

Mara narrowed her eyes, studying Tracy's movements. She had a feeling that she was trying to confuse her with the hopping and moving, but when she was getting close, she would brace herself for the lock up, but at the last minute, Tracy slid herself between Mara's legs and emerged back on her feet with a kip up before moving towards where Dana and Toni was.

Turning around, Mara saw that Tracy was going towards Dana, and her eyes widened. She quickly dashed towards her, but she was too late as Tracy landed a slap right on Dana's face!

"...?!" The slap itself wasn't hurt, but it did catch her by surprise. Dana placed her hand on her cheek that was struck by Tracy, raising an eyebrow. Meanwhile, Mara charged towards Tracy, hoping to hit her from behind, but the masked wrestler managed to duck under her arm, avoiding her attack.

After that, Tracy slipped away from her, leaving Mara at the corner. Mara seemed disturbed, and her ever-present smile was absent. Seeing this, Dana patted her on her shoulder.

"Focus on the fight, sweetie." Dana reminded her. Hearing this, Mara nodded before she made her way back towards the center. This time, she seemed serious. The ditzy looks from earlier was gone now. She would take a stance, readying herself for whatever Tracy would do next. This time, she would carefully watch her opponent's movement so that there would be no repeat to that slap from earlier.

Tracy had managed to get into the thick of enemy territory, all the way into the Ashford Family's corner, and make it out unscathed. That slap she hit across Dana's face resonated as much with her as it did with the fans. Katherine Hart was her best friend and mentor. A woman that inspired Tracy to become a pro wrestler, herself. Putting a mark on the face of the woman that just injured her with ease helped change the tone of this match! Mara was now facing Tracy with a much more serious expression. The cockiness and self-assuredness in The Ashford's corner suddenly dissolved. After ducking past underneath Mara's strike, Tracy rolled forwards onto her shoulder. She'd pop up to her feet and turn around to stick her tongue out at her legal opponent.

"What's the matter? I thought you were the nicer, chattier sister? You upset now cause you know this match won't be the cakewalk you wanted it to be? It's funny how you guys only seem to prosper when you're fighting champions who have their backs turned to you!" Canon taunted in an effort to rile up her opponents as well as buy more time. Sadly, Katherine was still very much out of commission. The Super Kitty remained laid out in the wreckage of the table. Aurora noticed this in her corner. She grit her teeth in concern over whether or not Tracy could hold out. She had hoped this plan wouldn't backfire.

Tracy would begin to circle the ring. She rolled her shoulders and met Mara's eyes with a cocky smile. When she was ready, Canon would lunge forward to try and lock up with Mara! She'd look to try and take the blonde-haired girl off her feet with a Side Headlock Takedown into a cover for a pin!

Seeing Tracy slip past her and slap her mother did rattle Mara, and she tried to retain her composure as she faced the masked wrestler. This time, she would prepare herself for whatever her opponent would try to do.

Then, Tracy charged towards her, and Mara prepared herself to catch her in the act. But then, her head was grabbed before she was flipped over into the mat with a side headlock takedown!

"AHH!!"

Quickly after that, Mara was pinned down, and the referee went to work quickly. But before the referee could count up to one, Mara would buck her legs, breaking the pin before attempting to shove her away.

"Nnnghhh..." Shaking her head, Mara tried to sit up, but for the time being, she needed a moment to calm her head so that she could focus on her opponent, who was taking advantage of her rattled state.

It would only take a 3 count for The SWAT Cats to retain their belts and leave with their heads held high, but Tracy had no expectations about Mara staying down to staying pinned. Before the ref could even count to one, the bikini-clad blonde had already forced The Circus Cat off her tight frame!

Tracy would find herself pushed back. She'd use the momentum from Mara's kick out to find her way back up to her feet. Not wanting to slow the pace of the match down, Tracy would step backwards and fall onto the middle rope behind her, rebounding off of it to pick up speed as she dashed towards Mara, who had just sat up!

The luchadora would run at her and Somersault over Mara! She aimed to hook both hands onto Mara's chin while she was airborne to try and hit a Somersault Neckbreaker! If the move hit, the crowd would react as Tracy connected and rolled up to her feet. The busty redhead would continue her dash, heading towards her team's side of the ring to tag Aurora and rebound off the ropes on the other side of the ring this time. If things went The SWAT Cat's way, Tracy would tag Aurora in and run towards a downed Mara! She'd set herself up for a Running Moonsault while her partner, the lightweight Galaxy Cat scaled the turnbuckles! Tracy would aim to connect with her standing aerial and bounce off Mara's frame so that Aurora could follow up with a Shooting Star Press from the top rope!

Should the double team combination be successful, Aurora would quickly hook both of Mara's legs to fold her up into an inside cradle in the center of the ring! Tracy would take her place on the apron in the Cat's corner as the referee hopefully started a count towards the champs retaining here and now!

Fans in the front row would cheer as The SWAT Cats looked to secure an early win or an early lead in this high-stakes title match in spite of them effectively wrestling with a massive disadvantage; in a 2 on 3 handicap match for the fate of their brand new belts!

Kicking out of the pinfall attempt and getting Tracy off of her, Mara would get herself into a seated position, hoping that she could keep herself calm in order to fight against the masked wrestler. But Tracy wasn't stopping with her momentum as she rebounded from the ropes, rushing over back to where Mara was before she hit her with a somersault neckbreaker!

"AUGHHH!!!"

Mara was taken down by the move, her eyes widened and her mouth open wide. Not enough with that, Tracy went over to her partner, Aurora, tagging her in. Soon after that, Tracy ran over to Mara again, performing a running moonsault on her. At the same time, Aurora climbed up the turnbuckle, preparing herself for her own move.

"GUGHHH!!"

Bouncing off Mara's body, Tracy quickly got up, allowing Aurora to deliver her own attack, which was a shooting star press from the top rope. She landed right onto Mara's prone body, dealing more damage on her.

"HUAGHHH!!"

Taking three consecutive attacks from both masked wrestler, it seemed that Mara was in a tight spot at the moment. Toni, who was currently watching everything unfolding before her, gritted her teeth, seeing that her older sister in danger. Seeing Aurora pinning Mara, Toni decided that she already had enough as she would slip through the ropes, running over to where Aurora was before attempting to hit her with a running knee strike to her head.
