9. ONE Tournament Re-cap

Unread post by Devilish53 » Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:29 pm

~~~
The one night elimination (ONE) Tournament. An event that began in another promotion. Its significance to LAW born from the fact that many of the notable talents in the tourney were given formal invitations to join the elite wrestling promotion. Melody Serperior, Tsunade Senju, Erin Quinn, Tara Kwan, and Paige Knight were all offered LAW contract with the ONE tourney performances kept in mind. Because the entire event took place in one night, fatigue and pain carried almost entirely from one match to the next. Many more valiant wrestlers like Erin and Melody chose to take on this obstacle with persistence and determination. More malicious and devious wrestlers like Tsunade sought to thin the competition by hurting others to the point where they couldn't see all their matches through! Chaos was a running theme. But as the night progressed and the quarterfinals became finals, only one would remain standing.
"All in all, I'd say this went well...bien está lo que bien acaba" The woman that had spearheaded the event finished her recap of it during the interview. The woman had pulled out her laptop to show the suits at the table sitting with her the highlights of the tourney. The video package was well edited and put together. From Tara's victory over Paige to Tsunade's attempt ton Elsa Karlsson's career, to the nameless jobber that Erin had defeated in the opening round, the 2 minute video package detailed the events of ONE from the quarterfinals to the finals.
She had just started discussing the ONE finals before deciding to cut it short. "Erin Quinn and Tara Kwan tore the house down. But all in all the event was a success from start to finish. It made money. It drew crowds. It put many of these girls on the map. Sure some of them were stuck on injury leave. Tsunade was never disciplined for hurting that girl. But I gave their management plenty of advanced warning. I believe that what happened is more their fault than mine." The woman speaking was none other than Mina Diaz, the former manager that put the event together to begin with.
"If you offer me this job, I'll be instrumental in taking LAW and it's roster of wrestlers to the next level." She said with a folded hands and a smile. Her command of this interview process ensured that she'd be leaving this meeting with a formal offer of employment from management at LAW HQ, themselves. And a chance to bring innovative events like the One Night Elimination to the League!
10. Rising Star Tournament
Miss Nata would step into the ring smiling happily, having a microphone in the hand.
"Good evening, ladies and gentleman." She wouldn't waste any time right now because she was forced to get out here and do this, and here was no money to make. When she would be backstage right now she could make a lot more. But management wanted her to talk here so she would be here.
"I was told to tell you about the rising star tournament. But why… I am sure everyone of you knows about the biggest and best event that went down in law! It was such a success you had to hear of it."
She would walk around for a few moments. She was right with the success, because the event brought in so much money that the management was trusting her with more and more projects in the last time.
"And the winner was no one other than the future queen of law. I could say her name here but I think you all know her. She showed us that you didn't have to be the toughest and strongest to be the best. Being smart and using your resources as good as possible sometimes is more than enough! We had one great match after the other and in the final we saw even out middleweight champion fight, but it seems like a queen is too much even for a champion… If I would be you I would go home and rewatch the matches again!"
She would smirk and throw a kiss to the crowed.
"Hope you guys have a great evening!"
11. Belly Belt Speech
Kyoko Akan came out to no music and her eyes closed, no confidence, not joy, only sadness at the heinous acts that were done to her pride and joy...okay so her second pride and joy. Her abs were fine but what wasn't fine was the belt she had spent the better part of a year defending and proving to be the best champion on LAW but sadly all things come to an end. Some faster then others, after LAW of the Jungle she had to deal with the reality that her belt was gone. And as she entered the ring looking around at the jeering disrespectful fans she just shook her head.
"You'd think after a year you'd be a little more respectful to your Queen but tonight's not about you." She said looking at the ground again. "Tonight is about the loss of something important to the dynamic of LAW as a whole. The greatest title LAW ever saw." She said before motioning to the titantron that sowed her title belt, before it was smashed to pieces
SpoilerShow
Image
The fans were as encouraging as ever, in that they cheered that her title was torn apart as Kyoko's eye twitched in annoyance, these people never learned. "Since your so eager to celebrate the belts destruction lets take a moment to talk about its history." She said plainly as she motioned at the titantron. "When I introduced the belt I had to deal with some Latina bitch named Gabriella."
Opponent 1 and 12: GabriellaShow
Image
"Ill live to be 100 and never know hat this bitch was thinking, claiming she had any right to think shes on my level, she was lucky enough to secure a draw in the first fight..no s much in the second go of it. And for all her shit talk I bet you don't see her around much anymore now do you? So let this be a reminder of what happens when you mess with me and the last visage of anything of value Gabriella ever did. Now onto our next little problem. Jessica Carter!"
Opponent 2: Jessica CarterShow
Image
"Yeah yeah I already know what most of you are thinking. 'But this doesn't count, this wasn't a match' And to that I say, who cares what LAW counts, my title transcends beyond the matters of LAW and this bitch deserved it, jumping me while I was getting a damn check up just so she could humiliate me, do I look humiliated? I've been kicking ass all year while she struggles to keep her job as the resident eye candy for that medical facility." Kyoko said waving her hand as if telling them to move into the next person.(edited)
Opponent 3: Hua ShinShow
Image
"Im sure most of you have heard of this actress, well I can assure you she is not worth the hype." Kyoko said letting the fans of course, boo and try to chant for Hua. "Yes Hua is worthy of boos, the bitch chickened out of a match with me and instead wanted to fight in the confine of her apartment. She deprived you people of your debut match like a coward and stole my belt. A coward, a lair and a thief in one. Now she cant even look at me cause I broke the defiance out of her and she gets to watch her precious baby girl look like the biggest loser in LAW..and get a belt for it! Hey I may not be a god but the Queen knows wrestling, an actress doesnt. Now onto REAL wrestlers again..."
Opponent 4: DaisukeShow
Image
"Unlike the rest of LAW and there so called champions I'm willing and able to fight anywhere, Daisuke couldn't compete here yet cause males weren't allowed so instead he challenged me, the best champion to a match in the LAW gym. I respected his sense in wanting to beat the best so I accepted. Unfortunately for the Wrestling prince, there's a reason I'm the Queen. I outmanoeuvred him in every way possible and left him screaming his submission for anyone in that gym to hear. The poor prince realised ho he was dealing with, and how he will never be true royalty."
Opponent 5: KatsumiShow
Image
"Here we have a complete knockoff of a chick who's mouth wrote a check the rest of her couldn't cash, no idea why she thought she was a match for me but once she was beaten I left her ass crushed in that ring. Poor little Kat, the Queen of Punks. Hardly an accolade worth bragging about but still were here talking about her humiliating defeat at my hands, so that's her mark on the world.
Opponent 6: TamagoShow
Image
"What is it with people who think jumping around and doing crazy spots and looking dangerous makes them daredevils? I have a more appropriate word for them, idiots. Case and point this mental patient, she thinks challenging herself to matches she has no place being in makes her unpredictable, well all it got her was being forced to tap out under my ass before passing out with a bruised belly and a broken ego! Turns out throwing yourself at anything you can see doesn't quite work compared to actual skill."
Opponent 7 and 11: Eirina MakishmaShow
Image
"Now when people actually want to see the best matches on LAW my two matches with Eirina seem to be well up on many of there lists, and for good reason. She is easily one of the best opponents I had and sure it was helped by me playing her game of hentai matches but that just shows my ability to adapt. I took her on in her own advantage and her crying like a child by the time I was done. And then she got her rematch after getting involved in something else and when she did she found out that my first win wasn't a fluke I'm just the better, stronger, sexier wrestler and this time When i owned her for 24 hours I made sure that she will remember that lesson forever."
Opponent 8: Yuki OnnaShow
Image
"Now she came at me with a lot of frowning and determination..both of which mean nothing when your facing a superior foe. Which like everyone else on this list, she was. Little Yuki reached for the sun and fought to prove a point to slap me in the face, I shot her down and had her tapping out and humiliated in record time, and if wasn't for Eirina's little interference she would have felt worse then what I was able to do. So lucky you Yuki, to bad your little friend paid for it more." Kyoko blew a kiss to the camera's clearly directed at the girl in question.
Opponent 9: Misaki ToyodaShow
Image
"And here we have me proving LAW's superiority, without a single thank you by you idiots by the way. Misakia Toyoda. the Berzerk Ace and there champion took me on in an inter-promotional match and despite being one of the best wrestlers in any league I had my fun crushing her and went the extra mile to make her submit! LAW should be thanking me for all the work I've done in matches like this and yet here I am getting no respect from any of you, so go ahead and keep booing, I'll keep breaking bitches like this."
Opponent 10: Marissa WintersShow
Image
"Not only do I beat other promotions, I inspire the competition, you really think a girl like this would want any business being here if it wasn't for success stories like me? The Belly Buster was determined to take my title above all else cause she actually knows its the best. And you people love her for it, too bad she cant take it, cause for all her 'busting' when it comes down to it I took her down like I take down everyone else. Around me the competition grows and when you fools realise that and start endorsing the best LAW has to offer, me we can start seeing even more success."
Opponent 13: Ciel AonlousShow
Image
Kyoko growled and shook her head unlucky number 13 showed her face. "Well you know what happens here. My own teammate challenges me to a match cause she wants someone who wont run away but then during the match she decides she wants to break my shit and treat that like a victory...My title...that I defended for a year...that my actual fans paid for and gave to me, that I used to show people how to really be a champ..and some punk with a metal bat decides it doesn't matter and breaks it." She scowls looking downright annoyed..."And now with that I have too...make a heartbreaking announcement in regards to the future of my title...and me.." She sadly said many in attendance were confused what exactly did she mean by her own future... "Obviously a title reign cant continue without a belt to represent it...And without a belt I cant call myself a champion.." Many fans seemed excited now at the prospect of her actually ending the whole Belly Queen championship.
SpoilerShow
Image
On the titantron another belt belt was seen this time in the hands of a personal trainer of Kyoko's who moved out to the entrance ramp walking slowly to the ring as Kyoko's demeanour brightened significantly. "Which is why I was grateful my fans made me an newer and even better belt to celebrate the 1 year anniversary of my reign! Convenient if anything else." Kyoko said as a new wave of boos were there as Kyoko ended up taking her new belt and raising it in the air before the Belly Queen started laughing. "Awww..did you idiots really think I was gonna let some whore with a bat be the end all be all of my reign!? Bitch im a Queen! There aint nothing between these ropes I can't do and there is very little out of these ropes im not willing to do to keep being able to perform here." Kyoko gave her new belt a kiss before continuing. "I never intend to lose this just like I never intend to stop being here I don't care about your approval, you can hate me until the end of time but the fact is you'll still be here as this place grow around me so those who cant learn to be tolerant will have to suck it up. The Queen and her title are going nowhere...deal with it."
All the monologuing, video packages, and egotism would put the LAW crowd into a fit of boos that showered Kyoko. The cascading boos would only seemed to feed into the self-proclaimed Belly Queen’s notion that she didn’t need anyone’s approval to call herself the Belly Queen Champion. This charade had been going on for a year, and that was a year too long.
Suddenly, Selynda “The Wonder Babe” Star’s music would hit and the crowd would cheer at the fact that Kyoko was about to get into it with the former Hollywood star. Selynda would jog down to the ring, with her breasts bouncing beautifully in her fishnet top as she got toward the ring. She’d vertically jump right on the ring apron before jumping over the rope and onto her feet in the ring. Selynda would then grab a microphone and would look at Kyoko with a somewhat annoyed look on her face before saying. “It’s been a full year of you parading around here with your fake title. LAW is a place of opportunity there are title that the lovely ladies in the back are fighting for and defending while you feel left out. You feel left out because people aren’t lining up to face you and you don’t feel special around all the talent on this roster. So you went out of your way to get your own little fake belt to make yourself feel special, to give yourself a reason to stroke your own ego. To give yourself some vindication as to why you do all those ab workouts when you clearly keep on skipping leg day.” The LAW crowd would pop as they heard Selynda’s cutting words before she’d finish off by saying. “Without your belt, who are you? A good wrestler with wrestler with nice abs, or an insecure bitch that needs attention.”
The crowd would rumble as they wanted to see the two women come to blows. Before Selynda would look around and would hear the crowd cheering as they watched both women coldly stare down each other.
A few more minutes and Kyoko would have been gone, but just as she was wrapping up she suddenly heard the music pick up, the crowd cheering to the wrestler that came out. Kyoko had never met her in person, seen her in several other promotions she had been in but from what she saw she was mostly a hentai wrestler, a feature Kyoko only dabbled in on the odd occasion rather then do on a consistent basis. Like these people deserved that much of a show. Still she quickly earned Kyoko's ire when her words were anything but congratulating, mocking her for the stellar year she had and claiming she felt intimidated by the talent on this roster. As if? Then she made comments about her legs that nearly got her steaming but instead of attacking her like she should of she brought the mic to her face. "And who the hell are you? More importantly who do you think you are coming out here for my moment and talking like that." She said getting angrier. "I don't need this belt to feel special, there's no one on this roster or in any promotion that I feel lesser then certainty not some big tittied punk who needs to wrestle in a ring to get some action cause no one wants her outside of it." That got some boo's probably form people who would very much take Selynda outside of a ring if they could. "And Leg day? Are you kidding me, I made girls squeal getting them between my legs. One of them being a top contender for the hentai title, which is about all your good for so don't go thinking I'm second rate, I have this belt because its a title LAW can be proud of around the waist of the only women worthy of carrying it. Certainly wouldn't look good around your waist, then again neither would any belt since your just not the kind of women good enough to win them." She mocked.
Selynda and Kyoko were saying heated words to each other and the Wonder Babe would retort by saying. “If LAW was proud of that glorified birthday tiara, it would be an official championship here. You know that you don’t have what it takes to win a championship here, so you made your own belt to boost that already bloated ego of your’s.”
The crowd would descend into Oooh’s and Ahhh’s at Selynda statement before she’d go on to say. “If you really were any good as you say you are you would’ve been challenging for the middleweight title, or the hentai title by now. Instead you’re out here, wasting these people’s time with your year long ego trip with your self ‘proclaimed’ title.” Things were getting tense between these two. You would think that these two had been at it in other promotions but this was the first time these two beautiful women started laying into each other on the mic as the LAW crowd would start chanting in a rhythmic form OH YOUR TITLE’S FAKE!!! over and over at Kyoko.
"They have that's why Ive gotten on PPV matches for it while you..what? Beat on little Belly dancers to make your big debut?" Kyoko said now she was remembering things. Selynda had a big debut against some chick..Miranda or whatever and she mostly destroyed the hapless girl, Kyoko had to admit she was a little impressed by the action itself but it was clear the women was less then impressive up close, something Kyoko had no problem laying out to her face to face. The fans naturally picked the one who kissed there asses, praising her talk of her belt while the Belly Queen just shook her head at the mindless sheep that was them. Though when she mentioned the hentai belt and the middleweight title she couldn't help but laugh for a second.
"Do you not follow? I was a proud and willing person to fight for the middleweight title but little Tina kept ducking real challenges to loan out title shots to her friends. And the hentai belt? That second rate thing isn't for me, and even if I wanted it it wouldn't be hard, Eirina is fighting for it soon and as we all know by my 2 victories against her in hentai matches..anytime I wanted that title I would just have to reach out...and take it. Just like If I wanted to beat your ass it would be a matter of how much not, could I pull it off." Kyoko said with a smirk. The fans clearly into this deadlock, some had noticed they had been in other promotions before without nary an issue with each other but there were clearly several issues now as they were waiting to see if Selynda would do more to shut her up.
Selynda would hear Kyoko’s prattle and would respond by saying. “Why don’t you back up your tough talk for once, and prove it. Right here right now.” The LAW crowd would start to chant YES!!! YES!!! YES!!! seeing how the situation had escalated to this point where these two superstars were about to collide on the DVD special for their entertainment.
The arena was ecstatic as the crow would rumble, and roar in approval loudly. LAW management backstage didn’t see a problem with this match becoming sanctioned because it would bring more eyes on the product. Whether or not Kyoko accepted this bold challenge was the only question left to be answered.
"Prove it? I've been proving it for a whole year, I can count on one hand how many girls have beaten me and I can tell you right now none of them have done so without me getting them back." Kyoko said as she once again heard the crowd going wild for a match. "But since you seem so keen on trying to ruin my big moment I think it would be hilarious to see you try and fail in front of all these people..So by all means lets do this, and ill show you how to really prove your the best." Kyoko said dropping her mic and moving to put her belt somewhere else laying it on the steel steps behind her. This hadn't been on her mind or something she could have planned but Selynda was by all accounts a big name, not that she got the appeal. But she didn't need to she just needed to tear this bitch a new one and watch the ans deflate from seeing her at her mercy...the ever lasting feeling that brought. "And Ill be sure to show you who has really been skipping leg day, and ab day. from the looks of it."
12. Bloodsport Special
March was supposed to signal the start of a season of love - spring. Butterflies in the air...people falling in love.
However, for a person within LAW, March was, somehow, a period best associated with underground pit fighting based violence, with strong amazons beating the bloody bits out of each other.
That was the hot event of early spring - Bloodsport. A hardcore match, with no hardcore weaponry, aside from the ladies' own bodies.
As the narration describing the event played on the titantron, clips from various matches played, with 12 women partaking in the even punching, kicking, and putting one another in torturous holds to either KO or submit the other woman.
With the event and the match type being proven a success, however, came demand for more of the match type in action, and LAW would deliver right then and there, the video package suddenly burned out to reveal the card for a match in the coming weeks:
ALICE GASTER VS YUZUHA TAKAMIYA
With the date, time and place described below the screen as to where the 2 hardcore lightweights would have their fight
The fans would be cheering for the match up, with quite a few of them hearing the brutal brawl between the two, while others simply realised the violence potential that would come from two known brutal ladies colliding
The package would swiftly fade to black for the next part of the event...
13. Lightweight Belt Special
~~~

The whole arena would go dark before the titantron lit up, divided into 3 vertical pieces. On the left side, Tina Armstrong - the Middleweight champion, was shown in her victory at We Are LAW

On the right side, the title win of Linda Halloween, in the Heavyweight title match at LAW of the Jungle.

The videos would shortly cut to the two ladies' promotional pictures, with their belts, with their respective titles and names at the bottom...

And in the middle of the screen, had the title of: "LAW Lightweight Champion: ???"

The middle screen would suddenly zoom in, edging out it's contemporaries as it started playing clips from matches of various lightweight wrestlers: Aoi Fukiwara, Rosie Soto, Miranda Tomi, GASTER, Asuka Hisashi, Raquel Masters, Honoka Kobayashi, Adriana Scarlett, Alex Drizzle, Himiko and a lot of others...their triumphs and losses were all montaged into a single vid to showcase the quality of high-class and high-speed wrestling the lighter ladies of LAW were showcasing...

...before the video continued, with specific dates showcasing in the bottom of the screen, as clips of specific matches began being showcased. Specifically, those from the Quarterfinals matches of the Lightweight tournament.

Before finally, the screen cut to a screen split into 4 strips, with each lightweight in the semi finals: Aoi Fukiwara, Himiko, GASTER and Miranda Tomi all taking a spot somewhere on the screen.

Between Aoi and Himiko, and GASTER and Miranda layed a separate date, indicating when the tourney matches were occurring and at which show...

The screen once again "opened" up like a large security door, behind which laid a logo, in massive letters, stating:
THE MAIN EVENT OF WE ARE LAW 2019

WHO WILL BE LAW'S FIRST LIGHTWEIGHT CHAMPION?

JANUARY XX, 2019

TOKYO DOME

The screen went black...and a spotlight shone into the middle of the entrance ramp...

...and in the middle of it, a shiny, pink gold belt laid on a pedestal, with camera zooming on the middle of it, which read, loudly and proudly:

LAW Lightweight Champion

14. Middleweight Belt Speech

It was one hell of a night at the arena, and Tina was clad in her ring gear with her title over her shoulder. She had assembled a little video for everyone to see and she was actually a bit anxious. She would rather wrestle in front of 100,000 people than to speak in front of 10. Taking a deep breath she came out and heard the crowd cheer. Tina waved to the fans, high fived a few and made her way down the ramp. As she climbed into the ring she brought the mic up, remaining quiet for a moment before raising it up to her lips.

"Ya know, this crazy 19 year old has come a long way from her old crap house in Liverpool to training with her favourite wrestler to this..." She said, patting the belt on her shoulder. Tina motioned up to the big screen and it came to life showing her entrance in her LAW debut, a match against one of her best friends, Anna Harris. "Anna and I beat the crap out of each other but I manage to squeak by with a win. I never imagined I'd have won my first match on a big stage. I suffered a setback a few matches later against Samuela but I haven't met a woman who can handle her let alone not get squashed by her."

Tina paused again as a montage began to play. Allison Heart, Aisha and Summer were her foes through the Rising Star tournament. Tina was in it as Alaina was attacked. The last minute sub managed to pin and defeat women all the way to the final, losing because of Summers friend distracting Tina at just the right moment."I wasn't an underdog, but I dunno if anyone thought a crazy teenager could slam, splash, kick and twist her way into the finals, losing because of Summers little cheer squad mates or whatever she calls her lackies..."

Tina shook her head, looking up at the screen as it showed some video of her training with women like Alaina, Diana Acera, Anna Harris and Samuela. "Before we get to any other highlights I want to thank anyone and everyone who took the time to help me, see something in me, as well as just give me a chance to be something. From the bottom of my heart thank you all so much! Without ya I'd be a school dropout workin' on roads digging' ditches. Thank you!" Tina said, clapping and smiling as she tried to do a small shout out to the women who helped her, not to mention Dan with his fitness training as well as Charlie for being the first genuine father figure she'd had in her life.

Next up was video of her facing Mighty Yukiko, Navi Florges and finally Erin Quinn in the middleweight tournament. "In every match I was in for that tourney I was the underdog. No one...even myself...expected me to beat a legend like Yukiko. I squeaked out one of the toughest wins of my career against her. Navi is a ball of fire. Pure energy and emotion. She packs a punch and has no real weaknesses...she is a lot like me in the ring. That is what made defeating her so tough. Even if she drives me nuts and has some dumb penchant for attacking me after defending the title I do respect what she is capable of in the ropes." Tina said before taking a deep breath. "Erin is a damn powerhouse. Hits like a freight train. Takes a pounding. She was, and still would be a fine middleweight champion. I got my eye on her I tell ya...but the win over her ended up being the biggest one I'd ever had. I just...I got lucky and wanted it more. She pushed me hard but in the end...well..." Tina said as she pat her title belt.

"I've fought some damn tough women in hard matches. I plan on fighting tougher women to defend this belt and I will keep coming out on top. I will be the best damn champion I can be. One that the fans are proud of. One that fights and defends the title as much as she can. I will make this title shine, I'll make the middleweight ladies as well as you all proud of who holds this title!" Tina said, pumping her fist into the air as she took in the cheers of the crowd. After a moment she gave everyone one final wave, blew a couple kisses to the fans and climbed through the ropes heading back to the top of the ramp to disappear backstage.

15. World Belt Special And Special Event Finish

Unread post by Devilish53 » Tue Dec 04, 2018 4:52 pm

The LAW World Openweight Championship...

It was always going to come down to this eventually. Every wrestler worth their salt set their sights on the trophy - the accolade that earned them the right to call themselves the best in the League from the moment they set foot at LAW. Wrestlers had already openly and brazenly staked their claim for it. Some built their resumes and cases towards the belt by striving to remain undefeated until it becomes time to crown the first LAW World Champ. Some did this by fighting when they could. Others by choosing their opponents well - fighting official fights they knew they could win and avoiding those they knew they could not...

Some fought valiantly in whatever or special match types they could. Some built their case the more traditional route by pursuing belts in their weight class or elsewhere to prove themselves as championship material. Many tried. Many failed. But their efforts did not go unseen by the general manager...Some chose to do things their own way and demonstrate their competence with their own accolades and championships.

While there's no one right way to earn any title, let alone a world championship, each day brought the company as a whole closer and closer to the point where a World Champ would need to be established. And through the long hours of the night, Dan DeFranco went through many cups of coffee, many excel spreadsheets, and many emails as the boss man tried to pin down exactly when that might be and how they would go about determining the first champ. In the corner of his periphery, he'd see in his browser that a small female fan, clearly a child, asked him via Twitter, plainly for all to see:

"Who's gonna be LAW World Champ"

To which he looked at for a moment before abruptly responding to directly and publicly on his official LAW Twitter account.

"Hopefully when you grow up one day, you :)"
