Idol in peril! Toshiko vs Rise

Unread post by pikazard »

Standard match: Victory by pin, submission or DQ.

Rise was pacing nervously in the gorilla position as she awaited her match for tonight, though the idol was still unsure if this wasn't some kind of mistake. Tonight she was up against a freaking heavyweight! She had been booked for some unfair match ups before but come on! The woman she was up against was Toshiko Ito, a tall and powerful looking woman who for whatever reason always wore a mask to matches. The prospect of facing this woman scared the idol, more so than any match before that came before. But still, she was expected out there, and if there was one thing Rise couldn't bear it was disappointing a crowd.

Rise took in one big breath to calm herself down and put on her brightest smile before stepping out to face the crowd, coming out to cheers from her fans. Rise posed at the top of the ramp, picking out a random man in the audience and giving him a wink. She ran down the ramp, giving out high fives and blowing kisses as she went, and climbed into the ring through the middle ropes. As she entered she took a lap of the ring before settling in her corner. As Toshiko's entrance began and the audience's attention went away from Rise her body language would tense up as she first laid eyes on her heavyweight opponent.

The arena would turn pitch black as "Royal Storm" by Statronika hit and Toshiko Ito took her spot on the stage as a strobe light began to flash on her. She paused, two war fans in hand before she began to do an elaborate war dance. Then, after a dazzling display, the extremely fit and large woman would stop as the spotlight took place on her and she glared at Rise Kujikawa in the ring. Only her eyes could be seen, her mask covering her mouth as she began to walk down to the ring, one fan over her face while the other rested behind her back. Her revealing blue outfit could be made out with every contour of her muscles on display before she made a quick leap and slide under the bottom rope seamlessly to enter the ring.

With eyes full of disdain for her opponent, Toshiko flicked her wrist as she made her way to the corner, closing her fan before setting them aside and stepping forward as the lights came back on. Rise seemed tense already--a weakness that the Twilight Edge was already taking note of as she eyed her up, examining her like prey. The Japanese striker would then slowly adopt a martial arts pose in the middle of the ring, waiting for the match to officially start. She didn't share a word with her opponent--Toshiko was prepared to take it to Rise immediately.

Rise's eyes would widen on her first sight of Toshiko Ito, both mesmerised and intimidated by the tall woman's war dance. Were those actual weapons!?! Rise flinched at the glare of her opponent, her mask covered up much of her face but her disdain for the idol was still clearly plain to see, regarding her as if she was prey. Which was an easy comparison to make, since the powerful-looking woman made Rise look like a little rabbit in comparison. Still, that didn't mean Rise was just going to run away, just that she REALLY wanted to. Rise would wait silently for the match to start, guessing correctly that the masked woman wasn't interested in any pre-match banter, although even if she was Rise was too nervous to initiate it anyway.

After what felt like an eternity the bell wound ring. Rise tried to take the initiative, running at Toshiko and cartwheeling at the last moment, extending her legs so that they would fly at Toshiko's chest in an attempt to kick her. Rise prayed that this would work, and that she would gain an early advantage.

Toshiko Ito watched as Rise began the match by running directly at her, doing a flourish of a cartwheel. The Japanese striker watched--waiting. Her head slowly tilting to one side as she scouted her. And then as she went for the strike, the masked performer immediately went down, rolling directly underneath Rise as she went for her kick! Expertly scouted and prepared for, Toshiko promptly planted a foot and got to her feet.

The swift, tall woman would then attempt to wait until Rise were to face her again and then step forward with a roundhouse kick, with the full intent of trying to take her more animated opponent's head off. Like all of Toshiko's strikes, it would be lined up with remarkable precision. It would be entirely up to whether or not Rise could notice in time if she would nail the strong kick or not.

As Rise attempted her cartwheel kick she was pretty confident it would work, but at the last moment Toshiko dropped down underneath Rise, causing the idol to soar completely over her. Rise was taken off guard, but she was able to adjust her stance in mid-air so that she landed without issue. She quickly turned around and raised her hands defensively in anticipation of Toshiko's next attack, but even so she was not prepared for what came next as Toshiko lashed out with a roundhouse kick. Rise's guard was too slow to raise and she took the kick straight to the face.

Rise's body actually lifted off the ground a little bit as she was launched back by the kick, crashing down on the mat. She rolled onto her side, clutching her aching jaw as she moaned in pain. It was clear that that one kick had dealt a lot of damage, the idol clearly wouldn't recover before Toshiko could deliver another attack.

Toshiko's first strike had echoed in the arena as she clocked the smaller girl on the head with her kick! The Twilight Edge watched as Rise fell to the mat, seemingly out of it. The masked woman then eyed Rise for another moment longer before she decided to make her next move, assessing the threat that Rise was and determining... not much.

Ito would then get close to her opponent and then grab her by the head to help her to her feet. It was then that she would keep her close and then begin to throw repeated knee strikes towards Rise's midsection! If successful, she would drop down right after before she could recover by landing on her back and then going for an uppercut as well, trying to lay in the damage while she had the early advantage with absolutely vicious strikes!

The lower half of Rise's face ached with a fierce pain as the young idol lay on the mat, taken off her feet by a single kick from her much larger opponent's muscular leg. While Rise wanted nothing more than to lay there and soothe her aching jaw she was dragged up to her feet by Toshiko, Rise tried to resist but compared to Toshiko she weighed as much as a stuffed toy so her resistance didn't mean much. For half a second Rise was given a moment to breathe, only for that breath to be taken out of her when she was struck by knees in the stomach over and over again, each strike forcing the idol to cough up and cry out in pain.

When the barrage of knee strikes finally ended Rise was left hunched over, drool dribbling out the corner of her mouth and her stomach feeling like it had been tenderised with hammers. She was just about ready to collapse, but Toshiko did not give her enough time to do even that as she would drop down and uppercut Rise, sending the idol up into the air for a moment before she came crashing back down. The audience gave out a sympathetic groan for the idol, who was receiving the worst beating of her career.

Rise lay on the ground, in the same position she was just a few seconds ago but now much worse. It was starting to look like the match was over before it had even begun.

Toshiko Ito's strikes had met their marks perfectly, with vicious precision. The crowd seemed to cringe with every shot that the masked woman made. And with a final uppercut, the Twilight Edge popped from her knees to her feet, striking a martial arts pose as she looked down at her opponent. Her expression turned more curious, looking at Rise as she lay there in pain. Her martial arts pose relaxed and Toshiko began to pace the ring, looking down at her opponent.

Soon, the muscular heavyweight would gesture for Rise to get up. "Stand," demanded Toshiko, standing in front of the hapless performer struggling in front of her, her brow narrowed as she glared at the girl, judgment seeping through her expression as she looked down on her foe she had already decided was her lesser.

After taking such a savage beating at the hands of her much larger and much more skilled opponent Rise wanted nothing more than to stay down on the mat and just stay there, if Toshiko had decided in that moment to go for a pinfall Rise would gladly have laid still and let this match come to a very swift end. Unfortunately Toshiko had no such intentions and instead demanded that Rise come back for more. As much as the idol really didn't want to she knew she couldn't just lie down, Toshiko would likely just choose to beat her while she's down if Rise refused to get up. So Rise started to crawl to the nearest ropes and would use them to climb back up, though her ascent was so agonisingly slow that Toshiko may lose patience with the girl. If she was allowed to get up fully the girl would get into a fighting pose and face Toshiko, praying that she was ready for what the deadly fighter had planned next.

Toshiko Ito watched as Rise seemed to struggle trying to stand back up. Her hardened gaze looked skeptical over her mask as she looked down at her, to the point that the Japanese striker was becoming increasingly less patient with her. Still, she waited, watching the idol get to her feet and then adopt a fighting pose, and Toshiko just glared at her coldly.

Then, Toshiko adopted a pose of her own and then barked out her next order, "Fight me!" She exclaimed the words angrily, spitefully. Wanting this girl to actually try to put up a fight so she could see the sort of challenge she posed, or rather lack of challenge at this point.
