Ninja and Idols oh my! Sakura Hagiwara vs The Lotus (D)

[Bare]

Sakura grunted and rolled her shoulders backstage as she made sure her white and red attire was secured nice and tight against her slender and supple frame. Sakura's last match had been... bad for her to say the least. While she held no ill will towards her opponent from then Selene Sugar the idol just couldn't help but feel some degree of embarrassment about her performance. After all she had so little offense and was defeated so easily.. knocked out even. How should she feel otherwise?

Sitting up a bit Sakura took a deep breath in mental preparation. While she had that previous loss weighing on her she wouldn't let it hold her back. Tonight she was scheduled against another heavyweight, albeir a debuting one. As a result Sakura had no knowledge other than apparently she had some sorta ninja gimmick. Either way it was a good opportunity for Sakura to prove herself after such a massive loss. Nodding herself she looked up just in time to get a nod to go from the ref causing her to walk forward as her entrance music hit.

Once it started Sakura was quick to come out, high energy as always as she stood at the top of the ramp with a smile on her face. Shooting an arm into the air Sakura would do her signature pose for the fans before breaking into a run down the ramp, high fiving her fans on the way before leaping up! Turning in midair she landed on the outside apron where she would do another pose for the crowd who cheered again at the action before she leaned backwards and over the rope into the ring. Turning to stand in her corner Sakura leaned forward on her knees waiting for her opponent to come down!

The Lotus closed her eyes, crossed her arms, and leaned against the wall as she silently waited for her debut match to start from backstage. She wore a black leotard which highlighted her well-defined physique paired with a plump rear as well a crimson scarf around her neck. Invariably, she maintained that aloof yet theatrical position until it was her turn to take to the stage.

She exited from backstage with a solemn expression and a firm but reserved disposition. Narrowing her eyes, she cast her gaze over the entire arena and assessed every present onlooker, especially Sakura. The Lotus piercing stare remained firmly locked on her opponent for a dozen seconds before she marched over to ring, remaining quiet all the while.

After clambering up the steel steps, she jumped over the top ropes to enter the ring. Walking over to her corner, she removed her scarf and adopted the same position as when she was at backstage; she closed her eyes, crossed her arms, and leaned against the turnbuckles. She didn't even bother to introduce herself to the idol wrestler, instead simply choosing to wait for the bell to ring.

As the music of her opponent kicked on Sakura looked up with a determined look on her face as she leaned forward on her knees, prepared and knowing she would have a fight on her hands. Although.. as the woman came out Sakura couldn't help but tilt her head. 'A.. ninja?' She thought to herself momentarily thrown off before shrugging, figuring there were weirder gimmicks for people to use.

However Sakura would admit to feeling slightly unnerved by the cold stare the debuting wrestler was giving her making Sakura feel like she had done something wrong without knowing. However Sakura was never one to back down from a fight, instead she merely continued to focus up on the ramp, meeting her opponent's gaze with one of her own and holding it until she broke it first.

Bouncing on her heels softly while preparing herself Sakura clapped her hands in front of her as she watched her opponent lean on the corner... 'Why do I feel like I've seen that somewhere before?' She thought to herself feeling the strangest feeling of deja vu like she had seen that from a show or something. Either way Sakura would approach the middle of the ring and hold her hand out to the girl. "Hello! I look forward to a great match!" Sakura would say with a bright smile, optimistically hoping her opponent was the good sportsmanship type while preparing for the worst in case she wasn't

Hearing Sakura's footsteps coming closer, the Lotus snapped both eyes open and wordlessly watched the idol introduce herself. Despite her austere demeanour, Miyuki strolled over to her opponent and accepted the offered handshake. "The Lotus feels much the same way." She declared in a flat tone, though the slightest of smiles did grace the corners of her lips.

Before the bell rung however, she backed off and stood up straight before she executed as series of ninjutsu hand signs. Yet even from a glance, it was rather obvious that her hand signs were a lacklustre imitation of what she's seen in anime and movies. She capped off her performance by throwing a punch which she used to transition into Bruce Lee's most iconic fighting pose, much to the surprise of the audience. Despite her subpar execution, her overly serious conviction carried the entire act.

As soon as she heard the bell rung, she dashed forward, closing the distance between herself and the smaller wrestler. Although the Lotus possessed lengthy strides, she was quite slow-footed. Nonetheless, that didn't dissaude her from adopting an aggressive stratagem. When she was in range, she spun a full one hundred and eighty degrees. At the same time, she threw an open-palmed backhand at Sakura's neck for a discus chop.

Sakura strode forward and calmly extended her hand out to her opponent, doing her best to start the match off on the right foot. Something she almost always tried to do regardless of how aloof, rude or intimidating an opponent was. She was a bit worried that she may be paying for this action with the vibe Lotus gave off, but thankfully she was proven wrong when the woman grasped Sakura's own!

Looking up and meeting Lotus's eyes with her own Sakura caught the faintest hint of a smile and internally breathed a sigh of relief as she offered a beaming smile of her own in response. "I'm glad to hear!" She replied back optimistically before taking a few steps back, placing her hands in front of her in a ready stance.

But when Lotus began her little... show Sakura was just as surprised and confused as the audience, unsure exactly of how to take it for the sheer... randomness of it. "An... Otaku?" The former idol asked while tilting her head in confusion, unsure about the display, largely because of the serious expression worn by the woman all throughout it.

Either way it wouldn't last long since the moment Lotus had struck the pose the bell rang! Seeing Lotus dash at her Sakura quickly got herself back ready, hands up and eyes sharp, piecing together her strategy as she saw the woman close in! Watching as Lotus spun for the clothesline Sakura would in turn duck, allowing the limb to fly over her head. As it did however Sakura would reach up, capturing the arm before standing, pressing the arm against her shoulder while Sakura's other hand went to grab and lift up one of Lotus's legs. If all went well Sakura would turn on her heels in the same direction the heavyweight was going in, aiming to use the woman's own momentum to counteract her greater weight to bring her down with a back drop suplex!

"Eh?.." The Lotus gasped in surprise as her strike not only missed, but ended up caught in her opponent's grasp. Before she knew it, her feet left the ground as Sakura perfectly countered with a back drop suplex. "Gak!" Miyuki grunted as her back crashed onto the canvas. Thankfully, she was still fresh and promptly recovered. She rolled backwards and promptly stood up, though the suplex left her in a mildly dazed state.

With an irritated grimace, she massaged her slightly sore nape. "Grr." She barred her teeth as she let out a low growl before she went back on the attack. This time, she tenatively approached before she swung her leg in a wide arc. She planned to make use of her superior height to clock the idol in the head with a roundhouse kick while still keeping a relatively safe distance.

Sakura kept a safe distance after successfully delivering a solid suplex onto her larger opponent. The resounding impact that resounded from it making even Sakura wince. However even then this was the beginning of the match and if Lotus was anything like other heavyweights she likely had stamina to spare for days.

It was an assumption that ended up proving to be a smart call as Sakura saw her ninja like opponent swiftly return to her feet. Narrowing her eyes at the growl from her opponent Sakura was on guard and ready for her opponent as the heavyweight dashed towards her. Tensing her body in preparation she saw the kick incoming from her opponent and swiftly brought her arms up catching the kick with a wince of effort. But that wasn't it. She would also duck low, bringing Lotus's leg and under with her as she pulled on the leg with a rotation to try and land a dragon screw on her opponent!

The Lotus's expression froze when the smaller Sakura somehow caught the kick, though the feat visibly strained her. "Na-" Miyuki didn't even have any time to react before she was flipped back onto her back via a dragon screw. "Guh!" She landed harshly on her back but she ignored the pain and managed to roll through back onto her feet. Baring her teeth through a vicious snarl, she threw caution to the wind and dashed forwards. This time, she leapt forwards and threw her fist with all her might, attempting to deck the Idol in the face with a superman punch.

WIth a single successful rotation Sakura had landed Lotus flat on her back with a dragon screw, no doubt also dealing some damage to her opponent's leg in the process. of doing so as well. But surprisingly that still wasn't enough to keep the ninja themed woman down. Turning around to maintain a visual on her opponent Sakura watched as the woman picked herself right back up and launched at her again. Eyes widening at the sight Sakura remained calm and decided to once again turn Lotus's move against her. Turning and pivoting on her feet Sakura threw her leg backwards at a high angle, launching a super kick up at Lotus's stomach as the woman descended down towards her for the superwoman punch to both avoid it while also driving her heel into the ninja's gut!

Despite the Lotus's relentless aggression, none of her offence succeeded. She recovered quickly from the dragon screw and immediately pounced on Sakura for a superman punch, only for Miyuki to receive a kick to the abdomen for her efforts. "Grk!.." A pained gasp escaped her lips as she felt her opponent's boot drill into her stomach. She landed awkwardly and staggered backwards while doubling over slightly and clutching her belly with both hands. Clearly reeling from the attack, she merely grit her teeth and stared at Sakura with spite filled eyes.
