Background: The girl who would be Kamen Moon grew up in fairly normal circumstances, the bright and outgoing daughter of well-off parents. However, a trail of melancholy followed her for much of her life. Her family was marred by the Aum Shinrikyu cult early in life, and several of her relatives were left very sick by the Fukushima incident.
In response, the girl became very introverted and shy, wanting to hide from the horrors of the world. All of this changed, however, when friends dragged her to a wrestling show put on by a major promotion. Finding herself swept up immediately in the grand heroism of the fan favorites, the girl wanted nothing less than to emulate those larger than life heroes, and bring hope to the public watching them from the stands and at home!
The Kamen Moon persona was created to do just what those earlier wrestlers did for the girl: inspire hope and heroism. Despite being just out of high school, young Kamen Moon finds herself driven to great things in the ring.
Training & Style: Kamen Moon began her training fresh out of high school, taking to the physical rigors of the ring quickly. She still goes to her gym every week to hone her skills, trying to be a well-rounded fighter and entertainer.
Experience: Less than a year of professional wrestling experience, though she has some gymnastics, fencing and track experience from school.
Signature Moves: Dropkicks, superkicks, hurricanranas, arm drags, leg scissor takedowns, straight kicks, flying knee strikes, springboard dropkicks, suicide dives, anything that keeps her body moving over her opponent.
Specialty Move- Name of the Moonsault- With an opponent on her back, Kamen Moon will mount the top turnbuckle, raise both arms to the rafters, and delcare that she will “punish them, in the name of the Moon!” Then, she launches herself off the turnbuckle, twisting in the air until she connects with a hard moonsault!
Specialty Move- KAMEN WIZARD- With an opponent on their knees, Kamen Moon will posture a bit, pointing at them and declaring that she will punish them “For the Justice of the Moon,” before running the ropes. If the opponent is still down, Kamen Moon rushes them down with a shining wizard, aimed mercilessly for their face!
Favorite Match: Submission and “I Quit” matches- Kamen Moon feels like her superheroic persona gives her an edge in these matches. Sometimes, she's right.
Attitude: Upbeat and optimistic, with a firm dedication to upholding the rules of the ring. Kamen Moon is an ordinary girl, and prone to some laziness, cowardice, and is something of a crybaby. In the ring, however, with her mask on, Kamen Moon does everything she can to uphold the image of a noble and virtuous heroine.
During matches, Kamen Moon holds herself to a high standard and expects the same of her opponents. Duplicity and cruelty are met with firm resolve, however, as the masked wrestler looks to exact “justice” on whoever tried to humiliate her. If Moon ever fails to live up to that ideal, however, she turns that punishment on herself, tending to be unforgiving of her own moments of weakness or cowardice.
Outside of the ring, Kamen Moon tends to get lost in her own little world. Around fellow wrestlers, Moon tries to uphold her character. However, due to the rigors of training, Moon is often very sleepy, sore, and sometimes she can come across as being antisocial.
Crowd Reaction/Fan Base: Kamen Moon is a true babyface, acting as a heroine in the ring and toward the fans. She's eager and outgoing toward her fans, wanting them to feel comfortable and enthusiastic at all times.
